Xijia Pond, also known as Gaoyang Pond, was built during the Eastern Han Dynasty. It is located about 5 kilometers south of Xiangyang City, Hubei Province, at the southern foot of Phoenix Mountain. It is a cultural relic protection unit in Hubei Province. Xijia Pond is regarded as the ancestor of private gardens by "Yuan Ye". It is one of the earliest garden buildings in China and is known as the first country garden in China! Xijia Pond is surrounded by mountains, with ancient pines and cypresses, trickling water, pavilions, flowers and birds, and quiet scenery. Since ancient times, there have been many literati and poets who have come here to chant poems and write poems. Many tourists come here to visit the White Horse Spring, fish pond and pavilions.
⚠️When you come to visit in autumn, you will feel a different kind of beauty! A large area of maple leaves is red, and the autumn is getting stronger. It is worthy of being the first garden in the suburbs. When you walk into the gate of the scenic spot, you can see the blue sky and white clouds surrounding the green mountains and trees🌲, which can also be described in four words, "leaning on the mountain and near the water".
