Just got back from Taizhou, here’s a summer water play and cooling-off guide for Xianju

Summer calls for a trip to Xianju Danzhu❗️
This hidden gem for water fun, certified by National Geographic,
boasts crystal-clear blue-green streams like mint candy,
perfect for shooting glassy water photos without filters📸
The water is so clear you can count the fish🐟
Here’s a firsthand guide tested by AJ under 35℃ heat, copy it👇

🏕️ AJ’s camping experience:
1️⃣ Zhenkou Bridge
Well-equipped, relatively commercialized, heavy traffic, not suitable for camping, good for water play, paddleboarding, and swimming
Recommended rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
·
2️⃣ Xiachenzhu Village
Wider water area, large dam, developed commercial area nearby
Recommended rating: ⭐️⭐️
·
3️⃣ Dadi Village
Well-equipped, wide water area, popular spot for paddleboarding🏄🏼‍♂️, cars can drive onto the riverbank, suitable for camping and water play
Recommended rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
·
⚠️ AJ’s self-driving tips:
1️⃣ If you’re going on a weekend like AJ, be prepared for traffic jams starting from Zhenkou Bridge, as the whole route has only two-way lanes and is prone to congestion
2️⃣ Commercial facilities are well-developed, with a 10 yuan/visit parking fee at almost every spot, plus shelters and small stalls selling goods
3️⃣ Stay safe while playing in the water; AJ stopped at Dadi Village and didn’t go further inside due to traffic jams on entry and exit🚗
