Four Maiden Mountains (Siguniangshan, Four Maiden Mountains) 🇨🇳


Four Maidens Mountain is located in Xiaojin County, Sichuan Province, China.
It is a natural park with beautiful scenery of snowy mountains, valleys,
grasslands and lakes. The highlight is the four main peaks that look like maidens standing in a row.

🏔️The name “Four Maidens” comes from a local legend that says there were once four sisters who sacrificed themselves to protect the villagers from demons. And became the four peaks:
1. Dafeng (大峰) – 5,025 m high, the easiest to climb
2. Erfeng (二峰) – 5,276 m high, moderate
3. Sanfeng (三峰) – 5,355 m high, more difficult
4. Yaomei (幺妹峰) – 6,250 m high, the hardest

🚌Park admission fee (latest update information may change)
• High season (April-November): 150 yuan
• Low season (Dec-Mar): 80 yuan
• Shuttle bus fee within the park: 70 yuan

📸Main hiking trails and photo spots
1. Shuangqiao Valley (双桥沟)
• This trail is suitable for those who want to enjoy the scenery at a leisurely pace.
• There are shuttle buses along the way.
• Highlights: Changping Meadow, Glacier Lake, and Four Maiden Peaks
2. Changping Valley (长坪沟)
• Suitable for intermediate hikers
• It takes about 1-2 days to hike (with accommodation)
• Highlights: Lama Temple, Pine Forest, Glacier, and Four Maiden Peaks
3. Haizi Valley (海子沟)
• The longest hiking trail Suitable for advanced hikers
• Takes 2-3 days
• Highlights: More than 10 glacial lakes and panoramic views of the four peaks
