Discover the Queen of Sichuan Mountains—Siguniangshan

☀️We first visited the Wolong Panda Base in the morning, had lunch, and then headed to Siguniang Mountain around 3:00 PM. The navigation system initially indicated a two-hour drive to our guesthouse, but the winding, stop-and-go road up the mountain, along with traffic jams, meant the entire journey took five hours. 😩😩
For drivers like us who aren't used to mountain driving, and especially in the high altitude, a sudden headache made it even harder to stay clear-headed. Therefore, self-driving drivers should be extra cautious and have oxygen tanks ready. 👍🏻
For our return trip the next day, we couldn't resist hiring a designated driver for ¥600, taking us from Siguniang Mountain to Dujiangyan. Once we reached the plains, we drove back to Chengdu.
But… all the travel and fatigue faded once we arrived at Siguniang Mountain. The stunning scenery captivated us. To say this scenic area resembles Switzerland is an understatement. The spring water flowing down from the snow-capped mountains is drinkable!
It was a rushed two-day, one-night trip, and much of the time was spent on transportation.
Hopefully, the high-speed rail will open soon. #SiGuniangShan #SiGuniangShanShuangQiaoGu #SnowMountain 🏖️Environment/Facilities: Natural scenery
