双桥沟 Scenic Escape | The Most Effortless Way to Enjoy 四姑娘山’s

If you’re heading to 四姑娘山 (Mount Siguniang) but don’t want to do intensive hiking, 双桥沟 (Shuangqiao Valley) is your best bet!
Located just a short ride from Rilong Town, this valley blew me away with its snowy peaks, turquoise lakes, wooden boardwalks, and easy accessibility. 💚

🚍 How I Got There:
• book a tour. Save me transport woes, and also include entry + sightseeing bus ticket (the bus is mandatory!)
• The sightseeing bus makes multiple scenic stops — just hop off, explore, and hop back on

• Zero need to hike – perfect for families, seniors, or altitude-sensitive travelers
• Stop by 银山瀑布 (Yinshan Waterfall), 撵鱼坝, and 日月宝镜湖 — absolutely stunning for photography
• The valley road winds through majestic peaks, open plains, and mirror-like alpine lakes

✅ Go early in the day to beat the crowds and enjoy better lighting
✅ Bring layers — it’s chilly even when sunny
✅ Snacks, water, and sunscreen are a must (no shops once inside)
✅ Oxygen bottle optional — altitude around 3,800m but still manageable

📌 I personally found Shuangqiao more rewarding than I expected — the sheer scale of the mountains without the effort made this one of the most relaxing alpine escapes I’ve had. Great if you’re short on time or energy, but still want iconic views of the Four Sisters Peaks (四姑娘峰) in full glory.
