The blue-green lake, the mysterious Swan Castle, and the fairy-tale world are not in a foreign country, but in Wanfeng Lake, a small lake in Southwest Guizhou.

Wanfeng Lake is located in the southeast of Xingyi City, Guizhou Province and enjoys the reputation of "Lake of Ten Thousand Peaks, the best in the southwest, and a landscape painting". The water surface is vast and misty, and the lake is shimmering. The coast is densely covered with peaks, stone forests, caves, cenotes, and forests. The lake is full of islands, peninsulas, harbors, and inner lakes, and can be visited in all seasons.

Travel through a fairy tale world
As you sail on the lake, you can soon see a huge rock in the center of the lake and the Gothic building on it - Giron Castle. The castle with red roof and white walls is full of fairy tale feeling, and the surrounding mountains add a bit of mystery.

Here you can also experience the scenery of the Three Gorges. Sailing on the boat in the canyon, it feels like walking in a grand natural painting. 3. A paradise for wild fishermen
Wanfeng Lake has beautiful natural scenery, fat fish and beautiful water, and is crowded with anglers. It is known as the "paradise for wild anglers" and is well-known both internationally and domestically. When I went there, I also met some fishing brothers who were not afraid of the sun and were really hardworking.

There is no entrance fee to Wanfeng Lake itself, but there is a fee for taking a boat. There are currently two piers at Wanfeng Lake. We chose the unofficial Hongchun Village pier (there is a sunshade on the second floor of the boat). There is no boat at the other pier.
The official boat trip time is 110 minutes, but it actually takes about an hour and a half.
The road to Wanfeng Lake is not easy to drive, but it is a normal two-lane winding mountain road (very common for friends in Yunnan, Guizhou and Sichuan). Just drive slowly and pay attention to oncoming cars. There is a parking lot at the pier and the parking fee is ten yuan.
