Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and find a tranquil retreat

After finishing their middle school entrance exams, the students wanted to find a place far from the city to relax. After researching extensively, they finally chose Yishanhai Milu Homestay, which lived up to their expectations. The homestay features large floor-to-ceiling windows, a tea table for brewing tea, and a view of dense forests right outside the window.

It's just a three-hour drive from Hefei, and a small stream is right at the doorstep, where you can ride bamboo rafts. The water is crystal clear, teeming with small fish and even koi. Free parking is available at the homestay, making it very convenient. The hostess was extremely warm, helping us with our luggage and check-in, and even turned on the air conditioning in advance so the room was cool and comfortable when we arrived. (~¯▽¯~)

We booked the Kun room type, which comes with a bathtub—perfect for a soak in winter. There’s also a hot spring pool on the rooftop. The room was impeccably clean, giving off a back-to-nature vibe that made us feel completely relaxed!

About a 25-minute drive from the homestay, there’s a photogenic café. Booking the homestay includes free drinks from the café, along with plantable seeds.

We had dinner and breakfast the next day at the homestay. Dinner was a barbecue—nothing beats grilled food paired with ice-cold beer in the summer! After dinner, the hostess even brought us roasted sweet potatoes. The next morning’s breakfast was nutritious and healthy, which we absolutely loved—hahaha!

After posting about it on social media, friends were already asking for the address. Haha~ We’ll definitely come back next time we get the chance!
