The rime scenery stretches for over 10 km in Pingtai Village!

In the cold winter, the Kurbin River flows through Pingtai Village. The water vapor rises in the low temperature of minus 20 to 30 degrees Celsius and condenses into frost flowers on the branches along the river, creating a rime landscape stretching for more than 10 km. Pingtai Village is located in Kelin Town, Xunke County, northern Heilongjiang Province. The winter is long and cold. The local Kurbin Hydropower Station generates electricity with river water, so the Kurbin River does not freeze in winter. At 6 am, before the sun rises, many tourists have already got up and rushed to the best viewing point of the Xunke Great Pingtai Rime Scenic Area 1 km away to watch the sunrise and enjoy the rime.
