It’s recommended to arrive at the scenic area before 8 AM! We left the inn by chartered car at 7:30 AM and reached the foot of the mountain in 2 hours. This hiking route is absolutely amazing:
1️⃣ First, walk 3 kilometers on a wooden plank trail through the primeval forest, where the moist air is filled with the scent of pine
2️⃣ After reaching the summit, the view suddenly opens up to vast highland grasslands paired with a sea of clouds—any photo you take is wallpaper-worthy
3️⃣ Be sure to check in at Shengwangping’s "Yaoci" (Jade Pool), which forms a natural lake during the rainy season, blue like a gemstone

✔️ It’s recommended to charter a car from Luoyang to Xicheng Mountain (about 300 RMB/day); the mountain roads are tricky, so new drivers should be cautious
✔️ The temperature at the summit is 10 degrees Celsius cooler than the city, so bring a windbreaker
✔️ Wear anti-slip hiking shoes! The last 1 kilometer is a gravel slope
