Yangzhou's top tourist spot: Slender West Lake

"Slender West Lake" in Yangzhou City. It is the most popular tourist spot in Yangzhou and has been designated as a national 5A-level tourist spot in China.

It was landscaped during the Sui and Tang dynasties, and was completed around the time of Emperor Kangqi and Emperor Qianlong's southern tour of the Qing dynasty.

As the name "slender lake" suggests, the lake has a long and narrow shape. Wherever you walk, the opposite shore is right in front of you, so it doesn't really feel like a lake 😅 It feels like a large park by the water, and seems like a good place to take a leisurely stroll or relax.
