The Shigong Temple in autumn.

🌈Highlights: In early winter, there are fewer visitors to the Shi Kefa Memorial Hall. The golden leaves of the two 300-year-old ginkgo trees at the entrance have already fallen. In late autumn, the courtyard is always bustling with people coming to see the ginkgo trees. Further inside is the Guangling School Guqin Museum, which sometimes hosts guqin performances. There is a 130-year-old ginkgo tree with golden leaves in front of the museum. The wintersweet trees in the garden are full of flower buds, and the fragrance will surely fill the air during the Spring Festival. With fewer people, you can quietly read the displayed materials, inscriptions, and introductions to Shi Kefa's life.
🎟️Tickets: Free. Just swipe your ID card at the machine. If you don't have your ID card, the staff will still let you in.
🕐️Opening hours: 9:00–17:00, closed on Mondays
💗Other tips: 1. There are colorful floral ceramic inlays behind the pine and plum screen behind the Shi Kefa statue, which are often overlooked. 2. The restrooms are well-ventilated and clean, and there is a heater under the sink, so you can wash your hands with warm water in winter. It's so touching. 3. Get off at the end of Wenhe North Road and walk east along the moat. You'll pass Yechun Teahouse, Yuma Wharf, Tianning Temple, Shi Kefa Memorial Hall, Ge Garden, and Dongguan Street. Have breakfast at Yechun Teahouse, fish soup noodles for lunch next to Ge Garden, take photos in Ge Garden, and stroll along Dongguan Street. The day will pass quickly.
