My mom loves the Rainbow Bridge in Yangzhou the most!
Well, to be precise, it’s the Red Bridge outside the East Gate of Slender West Lake, near the Imperial Wharf.
It is said to be a Ming Dynasty wooden arch bridge—Yechun Red Bridge. It was originally built during the Chongzhen period and was reconstructed in 2022 by intangible cultural heritage artisans using the Song Dynasty Bianshui Rainbow Bridge craftsmanship, spanning across the North Moat.
