Yanji offers more bang for your buck than South Korea.

Yanji is one of my favorite cities. Every street is filled with exotic charm. Imagine strolling along Korean-style streets dressed in elegant hanbok. Few girls could resist the allure of such a Yanji trip.

1. 🚄Transportation

If direct flights to Yanji are limited and expensive, you can fly to Changchun Airport and take the high-speed train to Yanji West Railway Station. Both the train station and the airport are close to the city center, about a 10-minute taxi ride away.

2. 🏨Accommodation

I recommend staying near Yanbian University, which is close to various attractions. Yanji is a small city, so you can easily reach your destination by taxi or bus and walking.

3. ✨Must-See Spots

1. Yanbian/Yanji Museum: Admission is free. If you are interested in history and culture, you can visit and collect stamps. The museum is not large but unique and worth a visit if time permits.

2. Korean Folk Village: The entrance fee is CNY 27. The architecture here is beautiful and perfect for taking photos. There are many shops outside, but be mindful of pushy salespeople. You can see various Korean costumes and photo displays.

3. Yanbian University's "Internet Famous" Wall: This is actually the university town area of Yanji. It's recommended to visit after dark for better photo opportunities.

4. West Market: This is a large comprehensive market where you can buy local specialties, rice wine, and more. The top floor has a food court, while the middle floors offer various clothing, small commodities, and handicrafts.

5. Women's World: This area mainly consists of Korean women's clothing stores. The clothes have good designs and quality, but the prices are relatively high. You can choose according to your needs and budget.

4. 🚶Travel Tips

If your time is limited, you can choose attractions based on your interests. If you are more interested in natural scenery, it is recommended to check the opening status of Heaven Lake in advance and take warm clothing. You can also join a day trip to Changbai Mountain. The cost is reasonable, and you can fully experience the local culture.
