🚗 Itinerary: Enter Lugu Lake from Lijiang, self-driving around the lake + boat tour

Day 1: Lijiang → Lugu Lake Viewing Platform → Daluoshui Village (4-hour drive)

• Take panoramic photos at the viewing platform, kids hold binoculars looking for the shape of Goddess Mountain!

• Stay at "Qiushan Homestay" in Daluoshui Village, open the window to see the lake, family rooms have tent toys.

Day 2: Pig Trough Boat Lake Tour + Mosuo Home Visit

• In the morning, take a pig trough boat to Liwubi Island, the boatman teaches kids to row, the water hyacinths on the lake have withered, but the Gesang flowers are in full bloom!

• In the afternoon, visit a Mosuo family, wear ethnic costumes and make butter tea, kids happily pound milk cake with a wooden pestle.

Day 3: Caohai Hiking + Bonfire Party

• Light hike on the Marriage Bridge (1 km), step on golden meadows and listen to Mosuo love stories.

• Join the bonfire party in the evening (30 RMB/person), kids dance the Jiasuo dance with Mosuo children.

Day 4: Goddess Bay Sunrise → Return

• Get up at 6 AM for the sunrise, morning mist on the lake is like gauze, bring a cape to keep kids warm.

👨‍👩‍👧 Family Tips

Transportation: Hiring a car from Lijiang is most convenient (7-seater about 800 RMB/day), bring motion sickness patches for winding mountain roads.

Accommodation: New homestays in Langfang Village have good facilities, recommend the "Shilili" series, which has a children's playground.

Food: Stone pot fish is freshly caught and cooked, the broth is fresh and sweet; firewood chicken can be requested less spicy, kids love eating it with corn cakes.
