Exploring Yeongcheon’s Hidden Cultural Treasure, the Traditional Culture Experience Center.

I visited the Yeongcheon Traditional Culture Experience Center! 🚶♀️✨

This place is not just an exhibition, but a venue where you can experience the rich history and traditional culture of Yeongcheon with all your senses! On the first floor and the staircase, you are greeted by astronomical and geographical maps and a historical timeline of Yeongcheon. You can get a comprehensive view of Yeongcheon’s history, spanning past and present. ✨🌍 Learning about Yeongcheon’s astronomy and geographical features made the experience even more interesting and meaningful!

On the second floor, there is a fabric shop where you can try on traditional clothes! 👘 Wearing the beautiful and colorful hanbok made me feel like I was living in the old days! There is also a food tavern where you can taste traditional foods in one place. Enjoying a warm traditional meal gave me a glimpse into the lives of people from the past. 😋🍚

What stood out the most was the beacon tower and the reenactment space for the Gotsnamu fight! 🔥 The beacon tower, which was used for traditional communication, was vividly recreated, making me feel like I had traveled back in time. There is also a separate space where you can experience oral music and literature, allowing you to spend a serene time listening to traditional music and stories. 🎶📚

The Yeongcheon Traditional Culture Experience Center has so much to see and experience that I didn’t feel bored at all, even after spending the whole day there! It’s a unique cultural journey that you can only experience here, so make sure to visit! 😊
