Recommended clean and modern hotel for a trip to Yeosu

During my 2-night, 3-day trip to Yeosu, I stayed at a comfortable and relaxing hotel: "Shilla Stay Yeosu."

Here are 5 reasons why I chose this hotel:

(Interior)
The lighting, artwork, curtains, and overall color scheme of the interior were cozy and modern, making my stay very comfortable😌. The cleanliness was satisfactory, and the towels were spotless.

(Swimming pool and gym)
I was able to enjoy the swimming pool for free during my stay, and I made the most of it over the 2 nights and 3 days🏊🏻.
✔️ You can use the pool once per day (choose either session 1 or session 2).
✔️ Session 1: 12:00–15:00 / Session 2: 16:00–19:00 (as of June).
✔️ There’s no separate changing room, so you need to change in your room, wear a robe, and head to the pool entrance where towels are provided after check-in.
The gym is open until 23:00, so I used it after having some late-night snacks. Though small, it was clean and well-maintained.
✔️ Equipment includes 2 treadmills and 2 bicycles.

(Ocean view)
The hotel is located near the sea, so I opted for an ocean-view room. Waking up to the view every morning was delightful🌊.

(Location)
The hotel is close to Expo Park, Aqua Planet, and Yeosu Expo, making it great for walking around. At night, the area lights up beautifully.

Walking distances:
- Odongdo Entrance: 10–15 minutes
- Jasan Park: 15–20 minutes
- Yeosu Marine Park: 15 minutes
- Yi Sun-sin Square: 30 minutes
- Romantic Pocha: 30 minutes
- Seomyeon Pocha: 40 minutes

I enjoy walking, so I explored most places on foot. For those who dislike walking, buses or taxis are convenient options. Taxi fares are usually around the base rate.

(Breakfast)
Having breakfast while enjoying the ocean view was a great way to start the day. Guests receive a discount, so I paid 21,000 KRW per person. You can order egg dishes like omelets or fried eggs, which are prepared on the spot, and they also make fresh pho noodles. While the variety of dishes isn’t extensive, the quality of each item was excellent, and I was personally very satisfied.
