Honest abalone porridge and abalone found in Dolsan

I stopped by Awabi for a late lunch. The menu was simple, so I ordered the abalone porridge without hesitation, and the piping hot bowl arrived quickly.

With a spoonful, a subtle, oceanic aroma wafted through the porridge, and the finely chopped abalone had a nice, chewy texture that was irresistible.

The porridge was neither too thick nor too thin, making it easy to digest. The side dishes complemented the meal, quietly balancing it out. The various seafood served as side dishes were reportedly wild-caught by female divers (haenyeo).

The server was also generous with the portions I needed, ensuring I never felt interrupted throughout the meal. If you're feeling a little under the weather during your trip and want to relax with a warm bowl of rice, this place is perfect.
