Climb to the top to overlook the rolling green waves, joyful family outing together.
✅ Jishan Bamboo Sea is one of Guangde’s top ten scenic spots, located in Jishan Village, Lucun Township. The main peak stands at 490 meters, together with the two adjacent peaks known as the "Three Peaks Overlapping in Green." It boasts 15,000 mu of moso bamboo, forming a continuous bamboo sea rich in negative oxygen ions. It is a hidden hiking paradise in southern Anhui and an excellent choice for family nature education!
✅ In the early morning, enter Lucun from the G50 Expressway, first passing through the "Bamboo Village Gallery"—a scenic village road with swaying bamboo shadows. Surrounded by bamboo shade like a natural tunnel, driving through it is especially refreshing. Park your car at the free parking lot of Jishan Bamboo Sea (the trailhead is right beside it, see photo 3) to start your family hiking trip. At the foot of the mountain, route signs mark the large and small loops. Families with kids are recommended to choose the small loop, which has gentle stone steps and bamboo shade that blocks the scorching sun, making it comfortable even in summer. Climb to the TV tower viewing platform at the summit for a 360° panoramic view of the vast bamboo sea, a magnificent scene that will amaze the children!

❶ Dress kids in non-slip hiking shoes and sun hats;
❷ There are many mosquitoes in the forest, it is recommended to spray child-safe insect repellent;
❸ Bring enough water and snacks to replenish energy in time.
✅ After hiking, you can drive to Luhu (Lucun Reservoir) nearby. The lake’s thousand-mu surface reflects the bamboo sea, creating a picturesque scene (photos 16-18), adding an ink-painting poetic touch to your day trip!
