Taiwan's oldest century-old winery

The Chia Chi Lan Winery Museum, also known as the Yilan Tourist Winery, was established in 1909 and is the oldest century-old winery in Taiwan.

The winery houses five historic buildings: the Administration Building (1929), the Chia Chi Lan Winery Museum (1935), the Taiwan Red Yeast Museum (1927), and the Hong Lu Art Gallery's container warehouse.

The winery is most famous for its Hong Lu wine, which originates from the old red wine of Anxi County, Fujian Province, China.
This fermented wine has a mellow and smooth texture and is a popular Yilan souvenir.

If you're not particularly interested in the winery's history, you can head straight to the Product Promotion Center, where you can buy draft beer for NT$65 for a 360cc glass.

You can also buy a variety of alcohol and instant noodles.
Last time I went, I bought Mongolian beef noodles, pepper beef noodles, and beer chicken noodles.
A bag of three packs costs about 70 yuan each.
While the noodles are quite expensive, they taste really good and are worth it!
