Huaiyuen Night Market - amazing food in every stall

I have visited many night markets in Asia and was amazed at the excellent quality of the food at Huai Yuen Sightseeing Night Market in Yinchuan. There must have been over 100 stalls selling a good variety of delicious local food. We tried 6-8 different kinds and they all tasted so good. The must try item is definitely the one meter long mutton skewer. The skewers were prepared on the side of the stall and everything looked clean and fresh. The line at this stall was particularly long but everyone just awaited patiently. The chef spoke gently and prepared all the skewers skillfully. The meat tasted just right and there was not one piece of meat that was burned!

The night market is located at an intersection of two main roads, near Ningxia University. We went on a Friday night and there were many students and locals there enjoying the food.

This is definitely the place to visit when in Yinchuan.
