✨ Overview

Yokohama Port Opening Memorial Hall is a historic building in the neo-Renaissance style completed in 1917 (Taisho 6). Built with donations from citizens, this building was built to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the opening of Yokohama Port.

Red bricks and white stone are beautifully harmonized, and the symbolic **clock tower (commonly known as Jack’s Tower)** soars into the sky.

🇯🇵 Locals affectionately call the clock tower “Jack.” Along with the “King” (Kanagawa Prefectural Government Building) and “Queen” (Yokohama Customs Building), it forms the iconic “Yokohama Three Towers.”
