Ancient Village Autumn Scenery Hides Poetic Charm

Cangpo Ancient Village is located in Yantou Town, Yongjia County. It was first built in the second year of Xiande in the Later Zhou of the Five Dynasties period (955 AD) and served as the settlement of the Li clan. In the fifth year of Chunxi in the Southern Song Dynasty (1178 AD), it was replanned by the national master Li Shiri, symbolizing the layout with the "Four Treasures of the Study": Brush Street points directly to Brush Rack Mountain, the Five Stone Strips represent ink, the Lotus Pond serves as the inkstone, and the square village area represents paper, forming a rare cultural space carrier of farming and studying in the country. The existing village walls, roads, ancestral halls, and ancient cypresses are Song Dynasty relics, preserving the original layout of the Southern Song village intact.
