Fujian's Ultimate Family Hiking Experience! Stroll Through a Thousand-Year-Old Vine Forest and Stay in a Hot Spring Villa for an Autumn Getaway

Who says hiking can only tire out the kids? The autumn light hiking trails at Yongtai Baijigou are the perfect choice for families with children! The entire route is shaded by greenery, with babbling streams, and even 3-year-olds can easily complete it~
🚶‍♀️Route Planning (Tested Easy Version)
🔹 Easy Route (suitable for under 5 years old): Entrance → Water Curtain Waterfall → Tiankeng Rainbow Waterfall → Return the same way, about 2 hours total, few stairs, many scenic spots.
🔹 Challenge Route (for kids 6+): Check in at all eight waterfalls, hike to the top to see the Three-Tiered Spring, then take the glass water slide down directly to the exit—effort-saving and fun!
PS: There are fewer attractions after the Tiankeng; if energy is limited, it’s recommended to return at this point.
🍂Autumn Exclusive Experiences
👉 Fruit Picking Fun: From October to November, there are loquat and blueberry gardens around the scenic area where you can pick fruit and DIY jam with your kids (Xiao Xi Farm is recommended).
👉 Ancient Style Secret Spots: The blessing cave entwined with thousand-year-old vines and the bluestone bridge—wearing Hanfu for photos feels like stepping into a martial arts drama.
👉 Eco Classroom: Plant names are labeled along the way, teaching kids to identify oak trees and observe butterflies, making nature education fully engaging!
🏰Recommended Overnight Stays
✔️ Chunguangli Homestay: Located in Chunguang Village, a glass house by the Dazhang Creek! Rooms have slides and tents, and the host auntie offers homemade plum wine—super warm and welcoming.
✔️ Tingye Qishan Hot Spring Villa: Private courtyard + family hot spring pool, kitchen available for cooking, only a 10-minute walk to Baijigou, perfect for the whole family to soak and stargaze.
💡Parents Must-Know
▪️There are snack stalls at the foot of the mountain, but it’s recommended to bring your own dry food (few supplies at the top).
▪️Waterfalls are more spectacular after rain, but the paths can be slippery—wear non-slip shoes!
▪️Combine with O’Le Bao Ocean World (30 minutes by car) for more family fun the next day~
