📝Note: The pictures were taken in mid-February on a sunny afternoon. There are filters, not original images.
⚠️ Important notes:
🌟Azheke is suitable for tourists who like humanities, natural scenery, photography, and photo check-ins.
🌟The village is not big, and it is somewhat different from the thatched mushroom houses in "Forever Young" that I imagined. It should have been restored, but the beauty of the rice terraces makes up for it! Light and clouds will affect the color of the terraces.
📸 Photo Opportunities
1. Mushroom House Cluster
Traditional Hani dwellings with mushroom-like thatched roofs. You can wear Hani costumes (available for rent in the village) to take great portrait photos.
2. Village Entrance Viewing Platform
Overlook the panoramic view of the village and photograph the interweaving of light and shadow between the village and the terraces during sunrise and sunset.
3. Terraced Field Trail
A path deep into the hinterland of the terraces. Hike to the center of the terraces to take silhouette or reflection photos.
📍 Basic Information
Address: Core Area of Hani Rice Terraces, Yuanyang County, Honghe Prefecture, Yunnan
Tickets: CNY 30 (including village maintenance fee)
⏰Best Time to Visit
Season:
November–April of the following year: During the irrigation period of the terraces, the morning mist and mushroom houses complement each other, making it the best time for photography.
July–August: The rice fields are verdant, but the rainy season has a lot of rain and fog, which may block the view of the terraces and affect the viewing and shooting effects.
Check the weather forecast before traveling, bring a good mood, and feel the millennial wisdom of the Hani people and the terraces living together. 🌾
