If I had to pick the most memorable place during my trip to Japan, I would say Yufuin without hesitation. This small town located in Oita Prefecture, Kyushu, is a representative hot spring town in Japan where nature and emotions come together, and it is a place that gently soothes the hearts of travelers.

Every step of Yufuin is like a painting.

Beyond the clear and calm Lake Yufuin, the majestic mountain called Yufudake spreads out like a folding screen, and as you walk along the narrow alleys, the sound of the stream tickles your ears.

In particular, the scenery with low fog in the early morning is mysterious and calm, like a scene from a Japanese animation.

Here, you can put aside your busy daily life and complicated thoughts for a moment.
The warmth of nature feels like a silent pat on the back.

🍎 Ringo-ame, the excitement of that one bite

And the unmissable pleasure of traveling to Yufuin is Ringo-ame.

Sparkling sugar coating on the outside, crunchy apple on the inside!

The sweet yet refreshing taste fills my mouth, and at that moment, I feel like I went back to my childhood.

After walking slowly through the nature of Yufuin and looking around the pretty shops,
when I took a bite of the sweet Ringo-ame, I thought to myself, “Ah, this is a real trip.”

The wind, sunshine, the smell of the trees, and even the sweetness of the apple candy that day
