The Thirteen Peaks of Jade Dragon, with their dangerous, strange, beautiful, and elegant scenery, are the sacred mountains of the Naxi people in Yunnan.

The sacred mountain and settlement of the Naxi people in Yunnan, often shrouded in mist halfway up, with undulating mountain ranges, looks like a giant silver dragon from a distance, hence the name 'Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.' It is a must-visit attraction in Lijiang.

Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is famous for its 'danger, strangeness, beauty, and elegance.' From the foot to the top, the vegetation transitions from subtropical, temperate, to frigid zones, not only rich in forest types but also the source of glaciers.

There are nineteen glaciers under the Thirteen Peaks of Jade Dragon, which look like a waterfall hanging under the steep Fanzi slope, shining silver under the sunlight. The most famous among them is the Black and White Glacier, along with the vast meadow of Gan Haizi and the unique spring snow scenery.

Entering the scenic area requires a climbing fee of 220 RMB, and additional fees for taking the electric car and cableway. A trip will cost around 500 RMB, but seeing the magnificent snow-capped mountains makes it all worth it.
