Coming here to escape the summer heat is simply amazing~
Although this place is not in Guizhou, it boasts terraced fields that rival those in Guizhou, accompanied by a dreamy sea of clouds. In summer, the layers of rice paddies stretch out into a lush green world, refreshing to the eyes.
📌 The location is precisely Yunhe Terraced Fields in Lishui.
Many people worry about how to enjoy their visit here. After going three times, this time I even brought my 1-year-old baby to bravely explore Yunhe Terraced Fields and found it to be a natural playground for raising children. Save this guide quickly~
🌅 Travel Guide
1. Jiuqu Yunhuan: As the core attraction of Yunhe Terraced Fields, this is an excellent spot to watch the sunrise and sea of clouds.
✅ Watch the sunrise: Climb the viewing platform before sunrise and quietly wait for the first ray of sunlight to shine on the terraces—so beautiful it takes your breath away.
✅ Terraced field study: Kids can learn about various crops here and get up close to the rice paddies, gaining knowledge.
2. Qixing Dun: The highest and most open viewpoint in the Yunhe Terraced Fields area, offering a panoramic view of the entire Baiyin Valley and terraced fields.
✅ Popular cloud swing: Kids sitting on it seem to be playing in the clouds, and every snap is a masterpiece📸
✅ Cloud coffee: Sit by the window and order a cup of coffee while enjoying the intertwined beauty of the sea of clouds and terraced fields outside—a truly healing experience.
3. Baiyin Valley: There is a 2.7-kilometer-long trail in the valley connecting Qixing Dun and Kenggen Shizhai.
✅ Waterfalls: Along the way, lush bamboo forests, babbling streams, and connected pools and waterfalls can be found, with the "Wujian Flying Waterfall" being especially spectacular.
✅ Ancient village: Kenggen Shizhai is hidden in Baiyin Valley, built in the third year of the Jingtai era of the Ming Dynasty. It still preserves ancient sites such as stone steps, Yinguang Bridge, and an old tea house, known as the "Stone Village in the Clouds."
🏨 Family-friendly accommodation
Daocaocao Meets Jimumu Hotel: Located right next to the Yunhe Terraced Fields Visitor Center, the entire hotel is filled with a fairy-tale atmosphere. There is also a wooden playground inside where kids can play endlessly! The rooms are thoughtfully designed with children’s toiletries and small beds, making it very convenient for families with kids.

❗ Tips for visiting
1. Check the weather forecast in advance and choose a sunny day to increase the chances of seeing the sunrise and sea of clouds. If you plan to watch the sunrise, remember to set your alarm clock.
2. There are many mosquitoes in summer, so be sure to take mosquito prevention measures for your child.
3. The cable car stops operating at 16:30, so pay attention to the time if you plan to take it🚠
