🌄 Complete guide to shooting the sea of clouds sunrise:
✅ Shooting conditions
· Check the weather app in advance. If around 5:30 a.m. the next day it’s clear or cloudy with cloud height below 1000 meters, congratulations! You’re very likely to catch the sea of clouds sunrise!
· It’s recommended to stay near the scenic area the day before and head straight up the mountain the next day.
⏰ Golden time
· Sunrise is around 6:07 a.m. It’s suggested to drive up the mountain between 4:30-5:00 a.m. The scenic area opens at 5:00 a.m., giving you plenty of time to prepare for shooting.

📍 Must-shoot spots:
1️⃣ Jiǔqū Yúnhuán Viewing Platform
👉 This spot is very photogenic! You can shoot “Clouds Rising on the Path” and “Sunrise over the Sea of Clouds,” with layered terraced fields and rolling clouds, like being in a fairyland.
👉 There’s also a giant dragon🐉 in the terraced fields that’s great for photos.
2️⃣ Baiyin Valley
👉 Kenggen Shizhai Ancient Village: original stone houses + bluestone paths, perfect for a vintage artistic vibe.
👉 Wujian Waterfall Trail: streams and waterfalls along the way, long exposure shots capture the water flow texture beautifully.
3️⃣ Qīxīngdūn Mountain Top: The cloud swing is a must-visit! Sit on it and shoot your back for maximum atmosphere.
4️⃣ Baiyin Valley Cable Car Station: Sit by the window and watch the cable car🚡 shuttle through the mountain forest and sea of clouds.

👗 Outfit: white/light-colored long dress + straw hat, fresh and photogenic.
📱 Equipment: drone shots work even better, but your phone can do great too! Bring a portable tripod for stability~
