Russia Trip: Exploring the Historical Churches and Flavors of Zelenogradsk

#hellohalloween Exploring flavors and Zelenogradsk’s seaside charms 🍣🌊

Two destinations, two vibes! My journey connected the foodie scene of Yantai with the coastal relaxation of Zelenogradsky District in Russia. Here’s how you can enjoy both!

Must-Visit Spots:
🍽️ Yantai: Start your day at Zhongxindajiudianjiangnanshifuzizhucan, tucked inside Central Hotel at 81 South Avenue. Go early for the freshest breakfast buffet—the variety of Chinese regional dishes means you’ll find new favorites fast. Tip: Try local seafood options; the kitchen here uses seasonal catches! It opens early, around 7:00 AM.

🌅 Zelenogradsky District: Head to Plyazh V Zapadnoy Chasti Zelenogradska (Gagarina Ulitsa, 40, Kaliningrad Oblast, Russia, 238530), a west-side beach escape. Sunrise and sunset walks here are epic for photos and chill time. Locals bring reusable picnic gear—less trash, more comfort! FYI: The beach is pretty open, so pack layers if it’s breezy.

Getting Around:
Yantai taxis are cheap and reliable; hotel staff can call one for you. In Zelenogradsk, walking or renting a bike is the easiest way to reach the beach and nearby cafes.

Food Notes:
You can’t skip the breakfast buffet at Zhongxindajiudianjiangnanshifuzizhucan. In Zelenogradsk, grab fish snacks from street vendors by the shore—they’re surprisingly tasty.

Quick Tips:
Both spots are cash-friendly, but bring a card for backup. Weather at the Russian coast changes fast, so check forecasts and dress smart. The beach is public—no entrance fees!
