Min Nan 'Mani Heap' - Shuiwei Tower

Coming to Min Nan for the first time, I really felt the unique culture here. I happened to encounter the 'Min Nan Mani Heap' - Shuiwei Tower (Stone Buddha Tower, locally also known as the 'tower'). Some researchers believe that the Mani Heap phenomenon is global, originating from prehistoric Shamanism. In addition to the already well-known ones, such as the Tibetan Mani Heap, Inner Mongolia Aobao, there are also Korean Soryangtang, Japanese Thirteen Heaps, etc., the 'Min Nan Mani Heap' may be one of the branches.
