The 'review' by the people

Zhanjiang Military Culture Expo Park is located on the south side of the Olympic Sports Center in Potou District, Zhanjiang City. The park fully utilizes decommissioned military equipment and deeply explores the red connotations of Zhanjiang, striving to create a national defense education venue that focuses on promoting national defense education, highlights modern military activity experiences, and integrates appreciation, participation, fun, and knowledge.
Inside the park, there are 8 decommissioned military aircraft on display, including the H-6, Y-8, J-8, and various trainers; various types of decommissioned howitzers, cannons, and anti-aircraft guns, as well as tanks and armored personnel carriers are also freshly refurbished, neatly arranged, and impressively mighty, as if they are undergoing a 'review' by the people.
These decommissioned pieces of equipment have attracted a large number of tourists for viewing and photography, with the most enthusiastic undoubtedly being the children, who are jumping up and down, touching and playing, and busily engaged; in the open cargo hold and cockpit of the Y-8, tourists flocking to take photos are so numerous that getting a chance to take a photo in the cockpit is 'out of reach'...
The surface ships and submarine decommissioned military equipment display area is about 2 kilometers away from the expo park. The display area features a Kilo-class conventional-power submarine and a missile destroyer, where tickets can be purchased to board and tour the vessels, and one can also admire them from the surrounding beach and take photographs as a memento.
Transportation: To visit from Haixi District, one can take buses 42, 43, and 908, but it requires walking two to three kilometers to reach the destination, as there are no ideal bicycles in the area; self-driving is relatively convenient, and parking is also more accessible, with no charge outside the park.
Tickets: For the Military Culture Expo Park, the full price is 50 yuan per person, and the discounted price is 25 yuan per person; tickets for the surface ships and submarine display area are 75 yuan per person.
