[RoundNails] This time, I traveled along a breathtaking yet perilous route—the Yizhao Highway (S237), located in the Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture of Xinjiang. Stretching over 100 kilometers from Yining City in the north to Zhaosu County in the south, it's famously known as the "Mini Duku Highway."
[SnowMountain] This highway is a section of the ancient Silk Road's "Gongyue Route" and is open from June to October each year. It traverses the Wusun Mountains, featuring thrilling mountain-hugging roads that offer the magical experience of "witnessing four seasons in a day and diverse weather within ten miles."
[SnowMountain] Scenic spots like the White Stone Peak of Wusun Mountain, Anglieite Daban, Wild Wolf Valley, and Maheqin Grassland dot the route. The stunning landscapes of grasslands, snow-capped mountains, canyons, and flower seas are a feast for the eyes. It's a paradise for road trippers and a scenic corridor where nature and culture intertwine.
