Visiting Hutuo River in Midwinter
Exploring the Little Elves in the Reed Marshes
- Photography at the North Bank of Hutuo River, Zhengding, Shijiazhuang

I haven't been to Hutuo River to photograph birds this winter, so I drove there early yesterday morning. The river was frozen, and there were few birds, so I searched for birds in the reed marshes along the riverbank, such as the reed parrotbill, parrotbill, and flocks of sparrows...
It's difficult to photograph birds in the reed marshes, as it's hard to focus, and it's purely a matter of luck. However, taking a walk along the riverbank in this warm winter is quite pleasant.
In fact, the greatest benefit of being close to nature is that it allows the body and mind to resonate with nature, returning to a childlike state, free from distractions.
