The Prototype of Sun Wukong's Water Curtain Cave: Huangguoshu Waterfall's Water Curtain Cave

It seems that all large waterfalls have a water curtain cave, but which one is the real residence of Sun Wukong? The famous tourist spot in Guizhou, 'Huangguoshu Waterfall,' also has a water curtain cave located behind the main waterfall. If you want to explore the cave, you better wear a raincoat!

The waterfall where the water curtain cave is located is over forty meters high. Behind it, there is a limestone cave on the rock wall, which is more than 20 meters deep and 134 meters long. It has six cave windows, five cave halls, three cave springs, and six passages, spanning both sides of the waterfall. The cave entrance is covered by the waterfall all year round.

How should I put it? Walking into the cave is like entering a stalactite cave, but on a smaller scale, and you can walk through it quickly. However, the unique part is that since the cave is behind the waterfall, looking out through the water really feels like a water curtain, no wonder it's called the Water Curtain Cave!
