Fujian, this magical land, is not only famous for its island scenery but also hides countless travel secrets unknown to the public. Over the weekend, my close friend and I drove to Zhouning in Ningde, embarking on an impromptu summer getaway. The two-day, one-night trip left us completely enchanted by the tranquility and coolness.

Day 1: Waterfall Exploration, Challenges, Night Tour

Jiulongji Waterfall Group: As the premier waterfall spectacle in East China, Jiulongji, with its majestic momentum and the tranquility of the primeval forest, made us feel like we were in a moving landscape painting. Walking slowly along the winding wooden plank road until the breathtaking waterfall came into view, all our fatigue vanished at that moment.

Sujia Mountain Scenic Area: In the afternoon, we moved to Sujia Mountain, a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts. The thrilling glass walkway, extreme challenges of high-altitude bungee jumping, and the excitement of aerial cycling made our hearts race and screams echo. Here, we released all our stress, leaving only laughter and screams.

Liyu Creek Night Light Show: In the evening, we strolled to Liyu Creek, where the tranquility of the ancient street district and the blooming lotus flowers in the pond complemented each other. As night fell, the light show slowly began, cloaking this ancient village in a layer of mystery and charm.

Day 2: Sea of Clouds, Ancient Charm, Rafting

Xianfeng Mountain Cloud Sea Sunrise: Early in the morning, we drove to Xianfeng Mountain just for the rising sun and the vast sea of clouds. Standing on the mountaintop, watching the clouds roll and the sun slowly rise, the tranquility and beauty of that moment filled us with awe, and all worries were blown away.

Liyu Creek Revisit: After sunrise, we returned to Liyu Creek, this time for the lotus-filled pond and the ancient streets. Walking through it felt like traveling back to a distant era, experiencing the tranquility of time.

Afternoon at Pottery Kiln and Mist Coffee: In the afternoon, we visited two unique spaces, Pottery Kiln and Mist Coffee. The ancient charm of Pottery Kiln was mesmerizing, while the transparent glass windows of Mist Coffee allowed us to enjoy the mountain view while savoring coffee. We spent a leisurely and pleasant afternoon here.

Xikou Rafting: In the evening, we went to Xikou for an exciting water rafting experience. Boating, rafting, camping, fishing... various water activities made us have a blast, as if we had returned to the carefree childhood days.
