Zhuhai 3-Day, 2-Night Jinwan Theater Trip

Saturday night is reserved for a theater show at the Jinwan Arts Center, so I planned a relaxing weekend getaway, exploring the lesser-visited Jinwan District by Hong Kong travelers!

**First Night**
After work, I headed straight to Zhuhai, arriving at the hotel around 7 PM. After dropping off my luggage, I immediately went out to find food. If you're only staying for one night, I highly recommend booking a hotel near the Zhuhai Grand Theater, as there are plenty of great dining options nearby. I stumbled upon a noodle shop and had a bowl of beef brisket noodles, which was surprisingly delicious! After dinner, you can take a stroll along the seaside promenade towards the Grand Theater for some photo ops. After admiring the "Big Shell," don't forget to check out the "meat" in the middle 😊.

**Second Day**
In the morning, I walked to Mingting Park and then to Yeli Island Park. Unless you enjoy sunbathing, I wouldn't recommend this route. By noon, I took a cab directly to Jinwan District. While Jinwan doesn't have many attractions, I chose to visit the Hongtang Cultural Center. Though not very large, it has its unique charm. Before leaving, you can grab a handcrafted lemon tea from the center's café and take a leisurely stroll outside. Next, I took a cab to the Huafa Commercial Circle, which is right next to the Arts Center and considered the busiest area in Jinwan. The Arts Center looks stunning in the evening sunlight combined with its lighting effects. I heard there's a musical fountain show at 8 PM, but since the musical starts at 8 PM, I missed it completely.

**Third Day**
After breakfast, I left Jinwan District and headed to Beishan Courtyard, a relatively new photo spot. It's a classic old town converted into a commercial area, featuring many unique shops and restaurants, as well as plenty of Instagram-worthy spots. Unfortunately, the area isn't very large. By noon, you can pick a restaurant to recharge and relax. After buying some souvenirs, I took a cab to the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge checkpoint to return to Hong Kong. It only takes about 10 minutes to get there, making it a perfect final stop before leaving.

**Note:** Stay hydrated and protect yourself from the heat!

🏠 **Accommodation Recommendations**
