Zhujiajiao, the Venice of China

Zhujiajiao (朱家角) is a water village located an hour away from downtown Shanghai, China🌿
It is the oldest water village in Shanghai, but it still retains its old appearance, so it is a popular filming location for Chinese dramas and movies.

The houses, boats, and bridges floating on the waterways were in harmony, creating a beautiful landscape. Maybe it was because the background was so pretty, but the photos turned out really well!
The narrow alleys here and there were shops selling food, souvenirs, and antiques, and residences. So I think I was able to see the locals' lifestyles in detail.

Zhujiajiao had a different atmosphere and charm from downtown Shanghai! This is my favorite place during my trip to Shanghai, and it is currently ranked #1 on my list of places I want to visit again ◡̈
