It’s worth taking your kids to Zigong during the winter vacation!

My darlings, I just brought my kids back from a trip to Zigong, and the experience was amazing! I must share this great parent-child travel guide with everyone.

Transportation: Since we were traveling with our kids, we wanted to make the entire trip less stressful. Taking public transportation is time-consuming and laborious, so we chose a Ctrip chartered car tour, with the driver serving as our guide. He is well-informed about the local activities and route planning, drives steadily, and his humorous and witty explanations make the journey full of laughter. Moreover, traveling with children, it is really a headache to carry so many luggages. We relied on the help of the driver and guide along the way, which saved us a lot of worries. The route will also be arranged reasonably and easily according to our and our child's ideas.

Zigong Dinosaur Museum
This is the Dinosaur Site Museum. As soon as you step into the museum, it feels like you have traveled back to prehistoric times. Various dinosaur fossils were displayed in front of us in a shocking way, including the huge Mamenchisaurus and the ferocious Yongchuanosaurus... As a dinosaur fan, the children had a lot of fun watching it.

Zigong Fantawild Theme Park
A theme park built with Zigong dinosaurs 🦖, the entertainment items are richer than you can imagine! This is a paradise for kids. My little brother loves to ride exciting roller coasters and go to the 4D cinema. Here, he can immersively experience the world of dinosaurs and have a great time! Have fun till you don’t want to leave!

Zigong Salt Industry History Museum
The museum displays the development history of the salt industry, ancient salt-making tools, and detailed process flow, allowing children to understand how salt is transformed from underground brine into daily condiments step by step.

🏮Zigong Lantern Festival
The Zigong Lantern Festival, which enjoys the reputation of "the best lantern in the world", really lives up to its reputation! So shocking! As night falls, colorful lights light up the entire park. The giant light groups are in various shapes, with lively animals and exquisite mythological scenes. It seems like a dreamy fairy tale world.

Food: There are many Zigong delicacies, such as boiled beef, dandan noodles, fish balls with fresh pepper and patchouli, Yuxi fish, and jumping frogs. But my favorite is the fresh pot rabbit, which has firm meat, tender and juicy texture. The more you chew the cold rabbit, the more delicious it is. It is so delicious!

In general, the route planning of this family trip to Zigong was reasonable and interesting, and we had a lot of fun without feeling tired! The children also gained a lot, learned a lot of knowledge that they could not learn from textbooks, and broadened their horizons! Traveling with kids can be worry-free and relaxing, it’s really worth it!
