Who says Zigong only has dinosaurs? This ancient salt well is worth visiting again and again!

📍Attraction Address:
Located beside Da'an Street in Da'an District, Zigong City, Sichuan Province. It's easy to find, but the entrance is a bit small. It was under renovation when we visited, so it might be expanded in the future.

🚗Transportation:
Navigate directly there—there's a parking lot nearby, making it very convenient. You can also take a taxi.

👍Must-See Spots:
This ancient salt well was drilled in the third year of the Daoguang era of the Qing Dynasty and took over a decade to complete. It's the world's first manually drilled well over 1,000 meters deep and is still in use today. Inside the attraction, you can see this high-yield well that extracts both natural gas and brine, composed of structures like the pounding room, cart room, brine extraction tube, and kitchen. You can also witness the entire salt-making process by locals, offering an immersive experience that feels like traveling back a thousand years.

💗Other Tips:
