Zurich Lake

Lake Zurich (Zürichsee in German) is a picturesque lake in the heart of Switzerland, located southeast of the city of Zurich. Surrounded by towns such as Zurich, Rapperswil, Meilen, and Horgen. Scenic cruises are available year-round, including historic paddle steamers. Popular in summer; several “badis” (public swimming areas) like Strandbad Mythenquai. Well-maintained paths along the lakeshore. Places like Zürichhorn Park offer relaxing spots with views. The lake shapes much of the city’s landscape. The Bürkliplatz is a popular promenade offering stunning lake and Alpine views. Beautiful lakefront real estate and restaurants line the shores.
