The area in front of JR Higashi-Zushi Station will once again transform into a winter wonderland this year with the "Hikari no Christmas" illumination event at Higashi-Zushi Fureai Plaza.
A 14-meter-tall Himalayan cedar will be adorned as a massive Christmas tree, illuminated by over 100,000 lights, creating a breathtaking scene that might make you pause on your way home from work. The view can also be enjoyed from the station platform or passing trains, giving the impression that the entire town is wrapped in a canvas of lights.
Lighting Period & Times (Example):
• Estimated Period: Mid-December 2025 to late January 2026 (based on the 2024–2025 schedule)
