On my three-day self-driving trip to western Sichuan, I saw many beautiful and charming natural scenery, such as grasslands, cattle and sheep on the plateau, and majestic glaciers and snow-capped mountains standing on the plateau. In western Sichuan, there are gorgeous grasslands, as well as the Nen'en Sangcuo (Fairy Pool) hidden in Jiuzhaigou County, and the scenery here is really a fairyland on earth. On April 8, 2021, a group of 9 people and two cars started a self-driving trip in western Sichuan, with a total travel time of 3 days, starting from Chengdu Jiuzhaigou Hotel, and the destination was to the Nenen Sangcuo (Immortal Pool) Scenic Area in Jiuzhaigou County, Aba Prefecture, Sichuan.
There are three roads to the Nen Sancuo (Immortal Pool) Scenic Area:
the first is from Jorge through the Brazilian Conference site Brazil Town, Qiuji Township crossed the Lama Ridge (3990 Yakou above sea level), passed through the ancient Tibetan village of Dalu and the self-driving camp of Shenxianping to the Immortal Pool, the whole journey was 143 kilometers;
The second is the entrance of Shangsizhai between Chuanzhu Temple and Jiuzhaigou, passing through the Lalai River Dam, the most beautiful Internet celebrity highway 28 turns, the Sun and Moon Observation Deck, and the pass of Yalong Nari Sacred Mountain (meaning the sacred mountain that leaves no tears at an altitude of 3688 meters), and the whole journey to the Immortal Pool is 45 kilometers;
The third is to start from Jiuzhaigou County, and the scenic spots along the way through the Heihe Bridge include Heihe Grand Canyon, Lama Stone, Xuanquan, Jiuzhai Tianzhu, Dalu Ancient Tibetan Village, Shenxianping Self-driving Camp and other scenic spots to reach Shenxian Pool, with a total distance of 128 kilometers.
This time we chose the first road to the Nenen Sangcuo (Fairy Pool) Scenic Area, this season has not yet reached the most beautiful season in western Sichuan, the color of the grass and trees along the way is still a little withered yellow, and has not yet become turquoise, but we feel that the scenery along the way is still very beautiful, especially the characteristics of the western Sichuan Plateau are accompanied by cattle and sheep all the way, as well as the snow-capped mountains in the distance, and the rivers are combined into a beautiful scenery.

The reason why I chose to go to western Sichuan so impulsively and travel by car is only true when I can catch it. Pack your bags and go to the dream destination in the distance. We drove for about 7 hours at the end of the day, and arrived at the first scenic spot in western Sichuan is the first bay of the Yellow River in Ruoerge County, and the first bay of the Yellow River is even more beautiful, especially at sunset, here is completely an artistic conception of "the sunset and the solitary horse fly together, and the autumn water is the same color as the sky". The water of the Yellow River is like a fairy's streamer slowly floating from the sky, gently caressing on the edge of Sichuan and then turning around and floating back to Qinghai, there are many islands in the first bay of Jiuqu, red willows are forested, colorful, brocade chickens and hares hide in it, waterfowl fly together, fishing boats cross, is a paradise for brocade chickens, yellow ducks, hares, red-crowned cranes, and black-necked cranes.
This is the Yellow River, something you haven't seen before. In your heart and mind, what kind of Yellow River have you seen? Maybe it's the magnificence of Qiankun Bay? Or the monstrous roar of Hukou Waterfall? Have you ever seen a very calm Yellow River? There is also a big bend of the Yellow River, then I suggest you go to the first bay of Jiuqu to take a look, the scene of the Yellow River here will indeed subvert your imagination, the first bay of the Yellow River Jiuqu originates from the Yellow River in the Bayan Kara Mountains and flows through Sichuan Province. In this section of the process, the Yellow River is the boundary river between Sichuan and Gansu, Hexi is Gansu, and Hedong is Sichuan.

Red impression, unforgettable Brazilian conference site:
The former site of the Brazilian Conference is located in Brazil Township, 32 kilometers east of Jorge County, Aba Prefecture. The site was originally the Lamaist monastery Banyou Temple, and now only the remnants of the wall remain. After the Maurge Conference, the Central Committee led the Right Route Army across the grassland to Banyou and Brazil, waiting to join the Left Route Army. However, after Zhang Guotao led the Left Route Army to Aba, he disobeyed the central order, refused to join the Right Route Army, and threatened the Right Route Army and the Party Central Committee to go south, and even tried to endanger the Party Central Committee. In response to this situation, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China held successive Politburo meetings in Banyou Temple from September 2 to 9, 1935, and after full discussion, it still adhered to the correct route of going north, condemned Zhang Guotao's right-leaning escapeist behavior, and demanded that the Left Route Army led by Zhang Guotao quickly move north to the central government. In view of the stubborn stance of Zhang Guotao and Chen Changhao and the enemy situation at that time, the Party Central Committee decided to lead the column directly north, and in the early morning of September 10, the Party Central Committee led the column to leave the Brazilian region and march towards the Russian border in Gansu, and at the same time issued the "Letter to Comrades for the Implementation of the Northward Direction". The Brazil Conference was a key meeting that determined the future and destiny of the Party and the Red Army, and had an important historical position in the history of the Party and was well worth visiting.

The geographical location of the township is very complex, is the junction of nine townships in two provinces and four counties, and borders Axia Township and Duoer Township in Diebu County, Gannan Prefecture, Gansu Province, Baozuo Township and Qiuji Township in Ruoerge County, Aba Prefecture, Chuanzhusi Town in Songpan County and Zhangzha Township, Yuwa Township and Heihe Township in Jiuzhaigou County.

The charm of Dalu Ancient Village accumulates day by day in the smoke and mist. Here, every earthen wall, every shingle and log combination of collector's huts occupies the precious flat terrain on the hillside.
There is Dalu Temple, a nearly 700-year-old Sakya Tibetan Buddhist temple, and an auspicious place - Shenxianping. The gorgeous and colorful Amdo Tibetan folk culture, unique natural scenery, ancient Tibetan villages, magical and magnificent religious cultures intersect here, and the unique geographical location and climatic conditions and diverse regional cultures have given birth to the rich tourism resources of Dalu Township, not only the fairy pool scenic spot known as the "epitome of the yellow dragon of Jiuzhai" and the "last ancient Tibetan village" Dalu Village.

In Jiuzhaigou County, there is not only Jiuzhaigou, but also Nenen Sangcuo (Fairy Pool) Scenic Area, today I want to take you to explore its hidden beauty, the Immortal Pool Scenic Area and Jiuzhaigou are far away, Nenen Sangcuo is also known as "Immortal Pool", which means the place where fairies bathe. The most special thing about Nenen Sangcuo (Immortal Pool) is that it is one of the few scenic spots in the world where you can see alpine lakes and calcified colorful pools at the same time, and it has both Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong landscapes in one. There are many alpine canyons in the scenic area, as well as many acres of grassland, forests and pastures. It was the first time I came to the Immortal Pond Scenic Area in Jiuzhaigou County, and when I strolled and was in the primeval forest of the Immortal Pool, my nose smelled the fragrant and humid air here, which was too lung-washing. Even my ears could hear the sound of pine waves and birds, the mountain breeze of the wild forest on my body, and the lushness of the forest in my eyes, as if I had come to another fairy tale world in Jiuzhaigou County, and I suddenly had an otherworldly feeling. It really deserves to be a place for fairies to bathe, only fairies can bathe here, although the legend is a legend, but its beauty really shocked me.
Every attraction here has its own characteristics and is beautiful, because there are many attractions, I will not introduce them one by one, I will only selectively introduce some of the attractions with representative characteristics.
Yaochi: It is connected by several calcified pools of different sizes, connected like jade pieces when it is calm, and like a celestial bead falling in a blue plate when the wind and rain pass, giving people the illusion of being separated from the world. Standing on the glass viewing platform on the Yaochi, as far as the eye can see, the wonder of the "terraced fields" of the Yaochi is really unimaginable, is the wonderland where the Queen Mother lives in this form? Scientific explanation for the scene here: This is because calcium carbonate is dissolved in spring water, and the sediment produced after evaporation covers the surface, but I believe that I am in the Yaochi above the nine heavens in the deification legend, sharing a piece of land with the gods.
Qinglong Sea and Divine Frog Sea: Their shape is the same as the size of Jiuzhaigou, where the dead wood lies quietly at the bottom of the water, forming a natural picture, especially the clear water here can see the landscape of the "seabed", and even the form of the calcified sunken wood in it and the various algae plants on it are clearly visible.
Touching Cave: It is a "stone cave" full of the world's expectations and wishes, and it has been hidden for many years. It is said that touching it can predict whether the child you will have in the future will be male or female. The colorful prayer flags fluttering and swaying in the wind around and the white dragons scattered on the ground are the best testimonies of loyal faith, and people choose to believe in the part they firmly believe in in their hearts and carry on with faith. In this world, faith is inherently beautiful.
The core attractions of Nenen Sangcuo (Fairy Pool) mainly consist of: Water Curtain Cave, Jinyin Beach, Shenquan, Yaochi, Qinglong Sea, Lotus Terrace Colorful Pond, Fairy Pool, Divine Frog Sea, Mofu Cave, Fairy Ping, Wandui Beach, Yonglian Spring, Lotus Terrace, Tibetan Village and Tibetan Folklore. It took me about two hours to visit the Fairy Pond Scenic Area according to the guide map and combined with my own physical strength, and the physical exertion state is still completely acceptable.
