Preface
Qingcheng Mountain is worthy of being the first of China's famous Taoist mountains, and during the Eastern Han Dynasty, Zhang Daoling preached here and founded China's native religion - Taoism.
Before and after that, there were many famous people who practiced Taoism and lived in seclusion here.
It wasn't until I personally set foot on this sacred mountain that my soul was completely washed by its empty valley.
"The lady's spirit is clear, but her heart is disturbed; people's hearts are so quiet, and they want to lead them"
"Let their desires calm their hearts, clear their hearts and clear their minds"
Qingcheng Mountain is undoubtedly an excellent place for "condemning desires and clearing the heart".
can always be quiet, and the world has lived
intoo many hotels and inns, and this is the first time I have lived in a Taoist temple.
The Old Summer Palace - a Taoist temple in the undeveloped area of Qingcheng Mountain, is located in a gently sloping valley halfway up the mountain in front of Qingcheng Mountain. There are not many rooms here, most of them are peripheral travelers who come to climb the mountain on weekends for cleansing, and the rooms are only a dozen steps away from the main hall, which enshrines the Supreme Laojun and the Dao Mu Tianzun.
There was originally a four-story hall, which was damaged in the Wenchuan earthquake in 08. Therefore, it is not designated as a development area of Qingcheng Mountain Scenic Area, and the two halls behind have not been repaired due to lack of state funding and insufficient funds, and they are all broken eaves and rubble.

There is also a scripture copying room in the Old Summer Palace of Qingcheng Mountain, which should have been copied by the Taoist priest. (The Taoist character is really good)
Qingcheng Mountain
Old Summer Palace is surrounded by mountains on three sides, and you can practice, meditate and enlighten the Tao on the terrace facing the valley.
Get up in the morning and sit on the terrace, watch the green smoke slowly rise from the mountains, your heart returns to heaven and earth, and the Taoism is natural.
The
food in the Old Summer Palace is very simple but also very delicious, perhaps because it is located in Shu, and a few simple stir-fries are very delicious. And almost every meal has my favorite sweet and sour pork, as well as rice soup that I haven't drunk for a long time.
There is a small vegetable field behind the Old Summer Palace, as well as chickens, and the local eggs are particularly fragrant. But meat and other seasonings need to be transported up from the bottom of the mountain, although there is a car, but the mountain road is rugged and tire-consuming, so eating here is a bit expensive, 40 yuan a meal, in the form of a large pot of rice buffet, you can go into the kitchen and scoop it casually.

Every
day after dinner in Qingcheng Mountain, the senior brothers will take everyone to practice on the platform at the gate of the Old Summer Palace, Baduanjin, Wuqin Opera, Tai Chi...... This is the life I yearn for, put down my mobile phone to cultivate myself.
When I went up the mountain, I asked my brother, "Are you all Taoists?"
Senior brother: "I guess so."
Me: "Then do you draw talismans?"
Senior brother: "It seems that you don't know much about Taoism yet." Taoism is now divided into two sects, the Quanzhen school and the Zhengyi school, the one who draws the talisman is the Zhengyi school, and we are the Quanzhen school, which pays attention to the cultivation of internal and external alchemy.
Me: "Then do you all have pills?"
Senior brother: "...... At first glance, you have read too many fantasy novels, and inner alchemy refers to the cultivation of human essence, qi, and spirit.
Me: "Ah, I see." "
It turns out that Taoism does not teach elixirs.

Qingcheng Mountain Qingcheng One Day|Enlightenment between mountains
and rivers For the tour in the Qingcheng Mountain Scenic Area, my action route is relatively niche, It takes 20 minutes to walk from the Old Summer Palace halfway up the mountain to the Ciyun Pavilion near the top of the mountain, and then make up the ticket to enter the scenic spot.
From Ciyun Pavilion, go all the way up, pass through Shangqing Palace, and reach Laojun Pavilion, the highest point of Qingcheng Mountain.
Then go all the way down the mountain from the other side of Laojun Pavilion, pass through various Taoist temples, and finally pass through Yuecheng Lake to the entrance of the ropeway, take the ropeway up the mountain to return to Ciyun Pavilion, and then go down the mountain along the path to return to the Old Summer Palace.
The path from Qingcheng Mountain
to Qingcheng Mountain Scenic Area from the Old Summer Palace is paved with irregular large stones, although it is difficult to walk, but the air is fresh, and the ears are the chirping of insects and birds in nature , every nerve in it is relaxed.

Qingcheng Mountain
occasionally has a stream flowing by the roadside.
The
first place to arrive at after entering the scenic spot of Qingcheng Mountain is Ciyun Pavilion, and the brightly colored murals are very conspicuous.
Qingcheng Mountain
goes up through Ciyun Pavilion to Shangqing Palace.
The Shangqing Palace was built in the Jin Dynasty, and the existing temple was built during the Tongzhi period of the Qing Dynasty, and the Laojun Hall was dedicated to the Supreme Laojun, the Patriarch of Chunyang and the Patriarch of Sanfeng, with a statue of Lao Tzu and a woodcut of 5,000 words of the Tao Te Ching.
There is a small pond next to the Shangqing Palace called Tianshi Pond, there is a frog with an open mouth in the pool, many people throw coins into its mouth, I took out the only coin on my body and threw it over, I didn't expect to hit it!
The
plaque of "Shangqing Palace" in Qingcheng Mountain is handwritten by Chiang Kai-shek in 1940, and the joint text is written by Yu Youren.

Continue to climb from the mountain road on the other side of Shangqing Palace, and you can reach Laojun Pavilion, the highest point of Qingcheng Mountain.
Laojun Pavilion is located at the top of the first peak of Qingcheng, with an altitude of 1,260 meters, and there is an original echo pavilion on the top, which means "climb high and call out, all the mountains respond". In the late 80s of the 20th century, the pavilion was renovated and pavilions were built. After the destruction of the "5.12" earthquake in 2008, the current reconstruction pavilion is 33 meters high, with a total of nine floors, the lower part is round, and the layer has octagonal, symbolizing the round place of heaven and Tai Chi; The appearance is tower-shaped, with a spire and a pile of three round treasures in the middle, which means that heaven, earth and man have three talents.

descends from the other side of Laojun Pavilion, passing through Chaoyang Cave, and the entrance of the cave faces the east. The Qing people Huang Yunge once lived here, and wrote a couplet: "The sky is far away and the red sun is near, and the earth is tired of the palace width". The modern painter Xu Beihong also wrote a couplet here: "The hollow welcomes the light, and there is a phoenix coming from the cliffs".
Qingcheng Mountain
Patriarch Hall is located at a fork in the road down the mountain, and you need to go back and forth the same way, almost 1.2 kilometers one way.
Qingcheng Mountain
Patriarch Hall was founded in the Tang Dynasty. Tang Dynasty poets Du Guangting, Xue Chang, and Song Dynasty Zhang Yu all lived in seclusion here.
Princess Yuzhen, the daughter of Tang Ruizong, also practiced here.
Because it is not on the main line of the tourist route, the environment of the hall is more quiet.

is not far from the ancestral hall is the "pen throwing trough", from the top of the rock to the foot of the mountain, about 70 meters deep and about 18 meters wide, the two rocks are broken, and the deep valley is overlooked.
"Records of Famous Places in Shu" quoted the "True Shape Map of the Five Mountains": "At the Dragon Bridge, the two mountains are more than 100 steps apart, the peaks are sharply opposite, and the hanging rocks on both sides are overlooked." There is an oath stone next to the mountain, and the heavenly master Zhang Daoling and the ghost soldiers swear."
The demon king was ordered not to harm the people anymore, and the red pen painted the mountain, and the handwriting became grooves, leaving a spectacle.
Qingcheng Mountain
was built with wood in ancient times, which made people tremble, and then carved a passage into a wall against the rock, and a stone fence was placed next to it.
Here, the Danyan on the top, overlooking the deep valley, the scenery is strange and dangerous, called the Pian Bridge.

After passing through the pen throwing slot, continue down the mountain, which is the Tianshi Cave.
Tianshi Cave was built during the Daye period of the Sui Dynasty, surrounded by mountains on three sides and facing a ravine on one side, and the existing temple was built in the late Qing Dynasty.
According to legend, at the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, Zhang Daoling preached here.

asked for a sign at Quanzhen Temple and offered a lamp. The first time I asked for a sign.
My brother said I would definitely go back again, but I didn't believe it at the time.
Nearly 4 months have passed since the request for a visa, and a lot of things have happened in the past 4 months. Two days ago, I dreamed that I would go back and return my wish.

Qingcheng Mountain Snacks|Anywhere is delicious
After spending a week in the mountains, I couldn't hold it anymore and decided to go down the mountain to forage for food. The urban area of Qingcheng Mountain is not large, and the most famous snack is this Zhang Mash Dumplings, which only accept cash.
I can't finish eating after o'clock, and the brown sugar glutinous rice cake is packed.
Liu Ji Beef Noodle Restaurant, not far from Zhang Mash, on Yaowang Road, an ordinary local shop, the taste is also a must.
I passed by a braised duck on the way from Zhang Mash to beef noodles, thinking that the local braised duck was famous, so I bought it, but it turned out to be super unpalatable, the duck meat was stuffed with peppercorns, The numbness was so bitter that it was difficult to swallow.
