The Old Summer Palace - a Taoist temple in the undeveloped area of Qingcheng Mountain, is located in a gently sloping valley halfway up the mountain in front of Qingcheng Mountain. There are not many rooms here, most of them are peripheral travelers who come to climb the mountain on weekends for cleansing, and the rooms are only a dozen steps away from the main hall, which enshrines the Supreme Laojun and the Dao Mu Tianzun.
There was originally a four-story hall, which was damaged in the Wenchuan earthquake in 08. Therefore, it is not designated as a development area of Qingcheng Mountain Scenic Area, and the two halls behind have not been repaired due to lack of state funding and insufficient funds, and they are all broken eaves and rubble.

There is a small vegetable field behind the Old Summer Palace, as well as chickens, and the local eggs are particularly fragrant. But meat and other seasonings need to be transported up from the bottom of the mountain, although there is a car, but the mountain road is rugged and tire-consuming, so eating here is a bit expensive, 40 yuan a meal, in the form of a large pot of rice buffet, you can go into the kitchen and scoop it casually.

From Ciyun Pavilion, go all the way up, pass through Shangqing Palace, and reach Laojun Pavilion, the highest point of Qingcheng Mountain.

In the late 80s of the 20th century, the pavilion was renovated and pavilions were built. After the destruction of the "5.12" earthquake in 2008, the current reconstruction pavilion is 33 meters high, with a total of nine floors, the lower part is round, and the layer has octagonal, symbolizing the round place of heaven and Tai Chi; The appearance is tower-shaped, with a spire and a pile of three round treasures in the middle, which means that heaven, earth and man have three talents.
