Today's plan: Xinduqiao→ Zheduoshan→ Kangding→ Yajiacheng→ Redstone Park→ Moxi Town, the itinerary is not too far, the time should be relatively relaxed, so the action is more procrastinating, go downstairs at 8 o'clock to have breakfast, go back to the room after the meal, sit down, and check out at 9:30 a.m. At 9:43, we arrived at a three-way intersection, turned right to Kowloon, we turned left and continued along National Highway G318 to Kangding. There is a white pagoda near the intersection, called "Muya White Pagoda", we didn't stop, we drove straight by, and we didn't know what the origin of this tower was.
In 2007, I came to Xinduqiao with a group, when the town was called "Photographer's Paradise", however, with the "crazy" commercial development in recent years, Xinduqiao Town itself has long been a paradise The old charm has not existed, and only by going to the surrounding remote areas can we find some of the old charm. At 9:56, we drove to such a place, called "Eze Zhong", although it is also on the side of the road of National Highway G318, but it is already more than ten kilometers away from Xinduqiao Town, and the wind of commercial development has not yet arrived, and the charm of the old Xinduqiao still remains. This is an iconic nostalgic attraction in Xinduqiao, with parking lots and observation decks set up on the roadside, and we stayed for a while to relive the idyllic scenery of Xinduqiao that we had seen in previous years.

Further forward, it began to climb over the "Zheduo Mountain", which was a long gentle slope at first, but the rain and snow were slippery, and there were many heavy-duty trucks on the busy national highway, so X.J. drove very carefully. As the altitude gradually rises, the autumn scenery begins to become more and more obvious, the surrounding hillsides are still green except for the sporadic coniferous trees, and the large areas of low shrubs have been changed into autumn clothes, red, yellow and purple set off the stars and emerald green, and with the white snow on the top of the mountain, forming a very eye-catching plateau landscape.
Continuing forward, the national highway G318 has changed from a long gentle slope climb to a rapid climb along the winding mountain road, and the sleet under the mountain has also changed into a real snow in the sky, and it is white all around. There are many parking lots along the mountaineering road, and at 10:30 we encountered the second parking lot after going up the mountain to stop for a while, this parking lot is vast, located on the left side of the mountaineering road, the right side of the road is a large area of gently sloping snowfield, many tourists run there to play in the snow, we also got off the car to participate in the snow play crowd. Why is such a large parking lot set up on the mountain, the intention is to make me puzzled, is it for tourism development? Or do you want to provide a place to rest for passing drivers?
Set off again at 10:40, just walk 400 meters to meet a three-way intersection, go straight on the left is to Kangding Airport, we turn right according to the navigation guidance and continue to climb along the national highway G318. 10:48 I saw that there was another parking lot in front of me, and I was surprised, why is the parking lot so dense? Suddenly seeing a white pagoda, I immediately realized that we had arrived at the top of the mountain. I visited here in 2007 and got to know this white pagoda. Compared with 12 years ago, Yakou has changed a lot, back then it was just an open space where you could park, with a simple "hut", today it is a decent parking lot, scanning the code for 10 yuan, and there is a small building next to it that can go down three floors, and the "hut" has also been replaced by a regular toilet. However, the only regret is that this toilet is located on the ground floor of a three-story building, and if the toilet is like a toilet, you have to go down the third floor first, and then climb three flights of stairs to go up. The pass is 4,298 meters above sea level, and for me, it is difficult to climb three flights of stairs in one go at such a height, and I have to stop to breathe in the middle. There is a stone monument of "Zheduo Mountain" in Yakou Square, which is obviously much taller than the one seen in 2007.

Standing on the stage and looking out, the landscape on the east and west sides of Zheduo Mountain is very different: the terrain in the direction of Xindu Bridge on the west side is relatively flat, mainly grassland, there are no trees, and there are white stone walls on the hillside in the distance with the words "Kangding Love Song City" in Tibetan, Chinese and English; In the direction of Kangding on the east side, there is a deep valley, the slopes are densely forested, and the Gongga Snow Mountain in the clouds and mist can be seen in the distance, and the peak is covered with snow all year round.

At 12:15, we continued on the road, and after about 10 minutes, we saw the "Yuling Snow Viewing Parking and Rest Area" on the side of the road, but we did not enter. At 12:26, I arrived at Lucheng Town, Kangding City, there was a "Neijiang Hotel" at the intersection, stopped for lunch, and chose to eat the "tofu fish" recommended by the boss, and the live fish was killed. Today I had plenty of time, and I was not in a hurry to leave after the meal, so I drank tea in the restaurant, tasted the free peanuts provided by the boss, and rested and took a nap for about half an hour. This hotel is located on a high slope, and a small river under the slope is opposite Kangding New Town, and the small river should be the Zheduo River.
13:30 Set off again, and the next step is to go to Moxi Town, X.J. has booked a place to stay tonight in Hailuogou Scenic Area.We plan to go along Kangding New Town→ Yajiagang→ Hongshi Park→ Swallow Gully to Moxi, which was originally a dirt road, but has recently been upgraded into a tourist road, it seems to be called "Yumo Road", also known as Provincial Highway S434. The electronic navigation guides us along the national highway G318 to the Zheduo River under the "Paoma Mountain", cross the bridge near the ticket office of the Paoma Mountain Scenic Area, turn right, turn around, and then go south along the east bank of the Zheduo River, all the way to Kangding New Town. Further forward is the "Yajia Ridge", which is located between the old Yulin of Kangding and the Moxi Town of Hailuogou, and is also the highest mountain beam that we must climb to Hailuogou today. At 14:28, it started to climb the mountain, it was sunny at the foot of the mountain, but the top of the mountain was covered by thick clouds, and it rained lightly on the road over the mountain. At this moment, if the oncoming car on the opposite side is just turning on the yellow fog lights, then it can only be seen suddenly rushing out of the thick fog when it is about 30 meters closer. 14:52 In the haze, I saw a large open space on the side of the road, and a boulder was inscribed with "Yaga Ridge", and I guessed that this should be the pass, so I drove into the parking lot and stopped for a while. However, the surrounding fog was confused, and we could only see such a stone as far as the eye could see, so we didn't stay long and drove on. At 15:15, I encountered a roadside observation deck, the ground was paved, a fence was set up around, and there was a plank road, which seemed to be quite formal. There is also a large stone here, inscribed with "Water Rhyme Heavenly Road", however, the surroundings are still only white, and I don't know what this observation deck is for.
Leaving the "Water Rhyme Sky Road", the road began to go downhill, the clouds and mist gradually rose above our heads, and the surrounding scenery began to become clear. At 15:24, we saw a very large parking lot on the side of the road, and in the middle of it was a lonely boulder engraved with "Yajia Love Sea" engraved on it, and we drove in and stopped for a while.There are two wooden houses at the end of the parking lot, listed as "Lover's Supermarket", and the display in front of the door introduces: The main attraction here is the "Yajia Love Sea", which is an alpine lake (Haizi), hidden in the dense forest of the hillside ahead. Kangding is famous for a love song, and many place names are also linked to the word "love", this scenic spot is advertised as the most suitable for lover tourism, and various scenic spots are also named "Hand in Hand Bridge", "Lover's Forest" and so on. It is very close to Gongga Mountain, and we were originally expecting to see the snow-capped mountains here, but the clouds were too low, and the peaks near and far were shrouded in clouds, and we couldn't see anything.
The next attraction is Redstone Park, we went all the way downhill, the roadside began to appear sporadically "redstones", some time ago I also saw some "redstones" on the way to Bami, the orange-red color on the surface of the stones is because there is an "orange algae" attached, this "orange algae" is extremely demanding on the environment, and it cannot survive if it is slightly polluted, so wherever there is a red stone, it must be a place with an excellent environment.
At 15:35, we arrived at "China Red Stone Park", the main body of which is a hillside passed by the road under our feet, and the road turned six 180° bends on this not too wide hillside, descending from the top of the slope to the bottom of the slope, a total of seven floors. On the left side of the highest highway, there is a large red character "China Red Stone Park", and on the right side of the road, there is an observation deck. The observation deck faces a small river, which stretches from the valley under our feet to the depths of the mountains in the distance, and there is a large area of redstone communities along the river, which is called "Hongshigou", known as the largest redstone beach in China and even the world. However, the observation deck is located too high to overlook the grandeur of Red Stone Tepe and cannot take photos up close. So, we parked the car on the side of the road at the bottom of the highway, and walked to the water's edge of the Redstone River, only through a road guardrail, to see the redstone up close.
Continuing forward, driving out of the unattended gate of Redstone Park, I suddenly saw a dirt road going up the mountain on the left side of the road, and a small stream flowing along the dirt road, and there was also a long line of red stones by the stream.
The road winds through the valley, and the small river that nurtures the "world's largest red stone beach" has always run parallel to the road, first on the right side of the road and then on the left. The flow of this small river is not large, but the channel in some sections is very wide, and driving along the river, you can always see "red stones" on the riverbank and the exposed riverbed in the middle of the river from time to time. 16:28 Drive through a place called "Muddy Debris Flow Ditch", where the river channel is very wide, whether on the riverbank or in the middle of the river, a large amount of red stones can be seen everywhere.
At 17:06, we drove to "Moxi Town", the scene that happened in Yajiang yesterday was repeated here, I thought that X.J. booked the hotel was in Moxi Town, however, after the car arrived in Moxi Town, the voice navigation said that our residence was still a few kilometers away, so we entered Moxi Town and drove out of Moxi Town, crossed a bridge, and drove up the mountain for a mountain road, and finally arrived next to an unpopular small building, and the voice navigation announced that "this navigation is over". However, this is obviously a farmer's own residence and a hotel, and there is a stall at the door, but there is no one in sight, we parked at the door, and no one came out to greet us. I said, "It's probably the same as Yajiang, we're the only ones staying here tonight", X.J. was full of anger after hearing this, and I stopped talking. I know his temper, he knows in his heart that he has been fooled again, and if I express my opinion again, he will be angry and find fault with me. So, he checked his mobile phone silently, and finally said, "Let's go, let's go to Moxi Town to live." X.J. only focuses on online reviews (including the water army) and doesn't care about the location of the hotel at all, which is different from me. The rooms in this hotel are quite large, the facilities are good, overall very satisfactory, the TV is a big screen projection, but we didn't turn on the TV at all for one night. 18:50 Go out for dinner, not far from the hotel is the original stone street in Moxi Town, I visited in 2007, when there were only small vendors selling daily necessities, and now it is a shotgun for a cannon, and the street is full of beautiful wooden antique buildings. The ancient street is now a pedestrian street, and the original ancient street area is mainly for the sale of tourist commodities, and the shops are brightly lit, but there are not many tourists.
Most of the restaurants are concentrated in the new area of the ancient street, the two walked to the end of the pedestrian street, and then there were some restaurants, many restaurants were unvisited, we deliberately chose a restaurant that seemed to be more lively, and we had no impression of what to eat, I only remember that when we left, an old man in the store told us that we must go to a nearby noodle restaurant for breakfast tomorrow to ensure that it tastes good. There are also many inns on this street, but they don't seem to have any lights, as if no one lives there. At 20:24, we returned to the "Twilight South House" hotel, and the lady of the front desk warmly greeted us, and we were also concerned about whether we had asked China-TravelNote customer service to handle the refund of the Guquan Hotel, and X.J. was still noncommittal. On October 13 (D10), it rained all the time at night, and the rain turned cloudy at dawn, but the clouds were still very low and foggy, and it is estimated that today's "big icefall" will still fail. This is the second time I have come to Hailuogou, and the only thing I am interested in at the moment is the big icefall, if there is fog on the mountain and you can't see the icefall, then it is better to go back to Chengdu directly. In the morning, X.J. stayed in bed, and I told him that the clouds were very low, and it was estimated that the icefall could not be seen, and now there were two options, one was to go up the mountain even if the icefall was not visible, and the other was to go directly back to Chengdu. At 10:52, pass through the "Hailuogou Tunnel", get on Provincial Highway S211 after exiting the tunnel, go north along the left bank of the Dadu River, and continue north on the right bank through the "Dadu River Bridge" at 11:03.At 11:09, we arrived at Hekou Village in Luding County, this section of the Dadu River is turbulent, and I have always heard of the Dadu River turbulent before, and now I have witnessed it with my own eyes, in the face of such a dangerous river, whether it is the Red Army of that year, or the earlier Shi Dakai Taiping Army, it is difficult to cross the river with wooden boats.
At 11:40, refuel 240 yuan at the PetroChina Hailuogou gas station in Lengmo Town, Luding County, and stop at the observation deck of "Bird's Eye View of the Red Army's Long March Road" on Provincial Highway S211 at 11:53. There was an old man who set up a stall selling mountain goods on the observation deck, and after chatting with him, he found that we were both 79 years old this year, and we were both dragons, so we took a group photo.
At 12:00, we arrived at the three-way intersection of the provincial highway S211 and the national highway G318, and the S211 ended here, turning right in front of G318 to "Tianquan", and turning left to G318 to Luding. We turned left, entered Luding County at 12:14, then crossed the river through the "Kangba Bridge", took the "Warrior Road" in the city, continued north along the Red Army's march route on the west bank of the Dadu River, and passed the "Red Army Bridge Tunnel" at 12:19, and the exit of the cave was the parking lot of the Luding Bridge Scenic Area.

Then I went to the "Jinsha Ruins", however, after arriving, I found that the "Jinsha Ruins" is a museum, and today is Monday, and museums across the country are closed on Mondays, so the plan to visit the "Jinsha Ruins" was completely ruined, so I simply took the same taxi and drove straight to the "wide and narrow alleys". Kuanzhai Alley is a place where outsiders flock to Chengdu, and Chengdu locals will not go at all, and a finger-long half-baked sausage costs 25 yuan. In addition to selling tourist souvenirs, the shops in the alley are all kinds of food, outsiders rarely come to Chengdu, and they are still willing to spend money to come here, the alley is overcrowded, many tourists are holding all kinds of food, and the price of some food does not seem to be expensive, but the weight is very small.
We have to spend time here, and we also have to eat lunch, so we can't help but join the ranks of consumption: 30 yuan a small cup of barbecue and roasted tofu, I feel that compared with a large paper cup barbecue in Bipenggou Scenic Area, it is not delicious and ridiculously expensive; I also went to a food stall to eat glutinous rice balls and wontons, and at the same time went to the upstairs café to watch a program for more than 10 minutes (38 yuan/person), the show is not good-looking, but because the interval between the two performances is long, we can be allowed to sit for a while longer and video with our families by the way.
The so-called "wide and narrow alleys" are composed of three parallel alleys to form a commercial area, in addition to wide alleys and narrow alleys, there is also a "well alley". In addition to food, there are also various handicrafts and tourist souvenirs for sale, and there is a dazzling array of goods, but there are many people looking at it and few buyers. In order to spend time, both of them also walked around, and when they were tired of shopping, they walked into a "Starbucks", bought two cups of coffee, found a seat on the third floor with a view, sat down to relax, and continued to spend time.
