The hotel chooses Haidong District (Haidong Sea Rhythm Hotel), 13 kilometers west of Xining Airport, not in the city, because the next day's itinerary is to depart early in the morning in the direction of Lapoleng Temple, if you stay east in Xining city, it will be more than 30 kilometers round trip.

Passing through a village at a higher altitude, there is a long prayer wheel along the road, and turning around this village is its open grassland.
A small village between Xining and Lapoleng Temple Arrive at the Internet celebrity restaurant "Uzerinka Tibetan Restaurant" for lunch at about 12 o'clock, the decoration and ornaments and their Tibetan characteristics, so taking pictures is more important than eating. Of course, the diet is also very distinctive, especially the ritual of lamb tripe wrapped in meat (stone cooked mutton). Labrang Monastery is located about 1 kilometer west of the county seat of Xiahe County (Labrang Town) in Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province. Drive about 40 kilometers along National Highway 316, reopen navigation to Zagulu Town, here will show two paths, one will enter the airport road from National Highway 316, the asphalt road drives all the way to the destination, the other is to take the country road, there is also a road in the middle, not paved old road, but the road condition is also very good, part of the original road retained by the Sanke grassland, almost no vehicles.

Road, Zagana is a more popular word for Gannan Ring Road tourism in the past two years, the name of Locke Road, as soon as it sounds is related to foreigners, the road that Locke walked a hundred years ago, Locke Hut, can also be regarded as Locke's former residence, in the destination Zagana, if you are interested, you can go for a walk. Of course, the current Locke Road is definitely not the entire route that Locke took before, but through this route you can reach the wonderland of Zagana. The journey is relatively rugged, most of which is already paved, but some of the original crater roads are still preserved, of course, starting in mid-to-late June, as long as there is no snow, most models can pass smoothly. The whole journey is more than 120 kilometers, stop-and-go, and it basically takes about 4 hours to reach Zagana.
Passing by, there are construction vehicles in many places to build roads, and maybe in two years, this road will be purely paved asphalt, and this kind of steep bumpy experience will be much less. The overall route road width is still good, and it is not difficult for vehicles to intersect. If the driving skills are not good, just drive slower, and the difficulty factor is very small.
Leaving Zagulu Town at 8 a.m., there is a check-in point at the beginning of the Rock Road not far from the town, there is almost no mobile phone signal throughout the Lock Road, and there is only a paid public toilet on the road, which is of course also a place for Saronda to take pictures and rest.
I took a break in the middle and found a relatively flat grassy area, although I didn't have a canopy, the outdoor tables and chairs were complete, and the plateau scrambled eggs, instant noodles, can be regarded as some new experiences on the journey.

For the attractions, there is no charge for Zagana, you can walk the plank road to the fairy beach, which is a meadow, it is better to take pictures, if you have enough time, you can go for a walk, or you can ride the villagers' horses and go deeper, which is usually the end of the fairy lake. The hiking route inside should be 25 kilometers long, and it is generally unlikely that tourists will spend a whole day hiking, mainly because of the altitude, most people are probably out of breath when they climb a hill.
For those of us who are leaving Zagana the next morning, the attractions can be ignored, and there are many ways to feel Zagana. For example, those with children can choose to feed the groundhog freely.The groundhog in Zagana is not like the one on the mulberry grassland that runs away when it sees people, we are known as the sixth groundhog, not only are they not afraid when they see people, but also take the initiative to come over to eat, the groundhog has the concept of breakfast and dinner like people, day and night, and when it comes to dinner in the evening, you can ask for a little steamed bun with the homestay, climb up the slope where there are few people and few houses, and in some firewood piles and other places, there is often a sixth one waiting for you to feed it.
In the evening, walk to the Lasan Monastery, there are no tourists scatter there, and quietly enjoy the Zagana when the night is approaching.
The next morning, I got up early and returned to the bottom of the Lasang Monastery last night, where there was a prayer wheel, and the locals happened to be praying devoutly.

Moreover, during the peak summer season, traffic jam mode has been turned on on Rock Road. Personally, I think that whether it is the Duku Highway in Xinjiang or the Rock Road in Gannan, these unique places may only come once in a lifetime, or try to avoid traffic jams during the peak season.

From Zagana to Norgei, the whole journey is nearly 200 kilometers, and there are two self-driving routes, one is the U31 National Highway, which is short, the driving difficulty is low, the scenery is average, and it passes through Langmu Temple (the only open heavenly burial platform). The second route is to pass through the so-called Gannan Xiaoduku, which must be navigated in cycling mode, passing through Tiebu Town, 550 Township Road (the essence section of Xiaoduku), National Highway 248, and finally reaching the Norge Prairie.
Gannan Xiaoduku, the whole journey is about 40 kilometers, starting from Tiebu Town, passing through Bengba Village, wild sika deer reserve, and ending at the junction of 550 Township Road and 248 National Highway. This section of more than 40 kilometers is narrow and rugged, although the whole process is a cement road, but most of the road sections are relatively narrow, difficult to meet the car, some sections have the previous collapse, the original cement road has been covered with collapsed soil, but the side has basically opened a dirt road. The small Duku is rich in landform and more delicate, and the valleys, grasslands, and streams are circulating and switching between each other, which is more suitable for parking and roaming, and even parking to pick up wild strawberries is also fun. If you're lucky, you can also see wild sika deer.
Rock Road, the scene is grand; The small independent library is delicate and unique. For driving pleasure, the fun of the small independent library is actually better, there are fewer cars, but it is difficult to drive, so you must concentrate.
At about 11 o'clock, I drove out of Zagana, passed through Tiebu Town, bought supplies for outdoor camping in the town, and found a meadow next to the stream on the slope at about 12 o'clock, and there were two families on the meadow, one was a local herdsman, and the other was also camping here. Slow car roaming is the leisure of travel, and it is also the greatest fun of self-driving travel. At about 1 p.m., I tidied up and started to set off, and the garbage for camping was collected, but the car could not be distributed, so I could only ask the herdsmen to help take it away, and I also felt the simplicity and thickness of the locals in the process of communication.
When the vehicle crosses the towering canyon, the 550 township road is almost over, and it is about to enter the open grassland, which will cover the mountains, and the Norge grassland will be entered, undulating up and down, and the cattle and sheep in the distance will enter the viewing point at the highest point after a period of driving, and you can stop and take pictures. If you want to go downhill from the highest point and want to get up close and personal with cattle and sheep, this section is the best choice. There is no protective net on both sides of the road, and you can go to the hillside when you pull over, and the cattle and sheep on the slope are herded. Once you enter the area near the Norge Grassland Scenic Area, there are protective nets on both sides of the basic road, and the eyes are flat, so you cannot enter the meadow area.
After passing through the Norgai Flower Lake Scenic Area, I saw too much of the grassland, in fact, I was a little visually tired, so I chose to ignore it and went straight to today's destination, the homestay of the grassland: Norgai Xianzhuo Homestay. It is also the most felt B&B in this itinerary, the B&B has a special geographical location, in the highest point of the village on the grassland, enjoy the silence alone, whether it is sunrise or sunset, looking at the Yellow River from a distance, it is an excellent place, the boss makes humor and unique enthusiasm, adding additional color to this B&B.
Arrived at the B&B at 3 p.m., sat in a daze, drank the B&B's Tibetan coffee, and waited for the sunset on the lawn behind the restaurant.
Early the next morning, we followed the village road to the Yellow River, where there were swarms of marmots along the road.

As mentioned before, there will be visual fatigue if you see too much grassland, from Norge Grassland to Jiuzhaigou, there are three routes, one is to cross the entire Norgai Grassland, Jiuhong Grassland Scenic Road, all the way to the grassland scenery; The second is to take National Highway 213, which does not have many characteristics. Therefore, we choose to take the third niche line, Jiuruo Road.
Jiuruo Road, both alpine meadows and canyons, is accompanied by streams, with the highest altitude of 3688, passing through the famous 28 turns, and finally entering the territory of Jiuzhaigou. Compared with Xiaoduku, the road on Jiuruo Road is spacious, but there are many curves, which are prone to motion sickness and rockfalls in some places. The whole journey is about 300 kilometers and the journey takes about 5 hours.
At 9 o'clock in the morning, after visiting the Yellow River, I directly navigated to Jiuzhaigou, passed through Norge County, and soon entered Jiuruo Road, and found a place with a sea of flowers and streams at noon to camp and rest.
