At about 11 o'clock, we arrived at Leshan Scenic Area, stored our luggage, and went to see a nearby museum to learn about the history and humanities of the Big Buddha. This museum is also built on the mountain, reflecting the harmonious integration of nature and humanity, which is very good. In order to save time, we brought some dry food and entered the Leshan Scenic Area after satisfying our hunger on the stools in the square.

The Leshan Giant Buddha, also known as the Lingyun Giant Buddha, is very spectacular and worthy of being a double heritage of the world's natural culture. The head of the Leshan Giant Buddha is level with the mountain, stepping on the river, hands on the knees, well-proportioned, solemn posture, and sitting upright by the river carved out of the mountain. According to reports: the height of the Big Buddha Pass is 71 meters, and the head is 14 high. 7 meters, head width 10 meters, 1051 buns, ears 7 meters long, nose length 5. 6 meters, eyebrow length 5. 6 meters, mouth and eyes 3 long. 3 meters, neck height 3 meters, shoulder width 24 meters, finger length 8. 3 meters, 28 meters from the knee to the top of the foot, 8 meters wide on the instep. 5 meters, the top of the foot can sit around more than 100 people.

The Leshan Giant Buddha has suffered all kinds of damage over the years. It has been repaired by various dynasties. In 1962, the government allocated special funds for comprehensive maintenance of the Buddha statue. From October 2018 to February 2019, a large-scale renovation was carried out to maintain the current appearance. We followed the statue of the Big Buddha from the mountain to the bottom of the mountain, and climbed up the narrow steep stone steps to the mountain, and took a closer look at the masterpieces of the ancients! I also thank future generations for their protection work.

Next to the Big Buddha is the place where the great writer Su Dongpo once lived, and now there are Dongpo Building, Qingyin Pavilion and other buildings, and there are Kunlu Hall, ancient Bodhisattva statues, stele forests, etc. in the scenic area, we watched leisurely for 2 and a half hours. Then, I went to the fishing village, it was 3 o'clock in the afternoon, I was a little hungry, so I simply sat down in a small shop on the street and asked for a big fish, and the shopkeeper said: This is a big fish caught under the Leshan Giant Buddha! The price is 240 yuan, and 3 dishes are cooked as a Chinese New Year's Eve dinner. The fish is tender and delicious! Haha

, eat and drink, and according to the instructions of the store owner, we chose to take another exit from the scenic spot. On the way, I unexpectedly visited the World Heritage "Ma Hao Ya Tomb" museum. It was a Han tomb, with doors connected and dense like a beehive, which was extremely spectacular.

We came to the exit of the scenic spot along the river, got into the scenic car and returned to the starting point to pick up our luggage. Then, I seized the time to check in at the newly built Jiadingfang Old Street next to the scenic spot.

"Jiading" is the old name of Leshan. According to reports: Jiadingfang is connected to the Minjiang Bridge in the north, the Leshan Giant Buddha in the south, the Minjiang River in the west, the Guicheng Mountain in the east, and the core scenic spot of the Leshan Giant Buddha and the Leshan Giant Buddha Museum area are organically connected by the mountains and rivers, and are closely connected to the old town of Leshan, which is the gateway landscape of the Leshan Giant Buddha and the boutique corridor into the scenic spot.

Jiadingfang is divided into three functional areas of ABC. Area A "Jiading Ancient Fang" is a commercial functional area of the ancient town; Area B "Tsing Yi Li" is a modern commercial service area built in the style of residential buildings in southwest Sichuan, with lychee buildings, Mingyue Building, Wanjing Building, and Repulse Bay lined up, including stages that travel through ancient and modern times, as well as leisure tea houses, coffees, bars, Western food, etc.; Area C "Wangyue Hall" is a tourist reception service area in the form of Ming and Qing style buildings. In addition, there are Jiulong Beach Wharf, waterfront landscape area, etc., which are places to attract young people to gather.

There is a bus to Leshan Station in Leshan Scenic Area, and the last train is shown on the mobile phone at 6 o'clock.I originally planned to take the high-speed rail to Mount Emei, but unexpectedly, because it was the Chinese New Year's Eve, the bus ended at half past four. So we took a taxi directly to the Linxi Hotel in Emei Mountain City, a male driver asked for 150 yuan, the daughter said it was too expensive, and called a female driver's car, she asked for 120 yuan. Haha, the uncertainty that sometimes arises during the journey is an experience of independent travel. At 6 p.m., we successfully checked into this hotel with hot springs, where we stayed for 2 nights.
