After the peak summer season, we decided to see Jiuzhaigou after the earthquake. For this trip, we planned to visit the Sanxingdui Museum in Guanghan first, and then take a car to Jiuzhaigou, so we chose Mianyang, which has more trains in Guanghan, as the first stop of this trip.

Located on the west duck river of Guanghan City, a famous historical and cultural city, Sanxingdui Museum is located in the northeast corner of the Sanxingdui site, integrating cultural relics collection and protection, academic research and social education, and is a modern thematic heritage museum in China.The museum area covers an area of about 530 acres, completed and opened in October 1997, focusing on the collection and display of more than 1,000 precious cultural relics such as bronze, jade, gold, pottery and bone tools unearthed from the Sanxingdui site and the No. 1 and No. 2 Shang Dynasty sacrificial pits in the site.

Sanxingdui cultural relics are precious cultural heritage of mankind, and they are one of the most historical, scientific, cultural and artistic values and ornamental cultural relics groups in China. The west garden gate is the pheasant gate of the ancient city of Luocheng, the pheasant wall is 500 meters, the city tower is three-storey, towering, the golden tiles shine, the eaves and pillars are flowing red, solemn and majestic. The attractions in the park are dotted and antique, with both the small and exquisite characteristics of Suzhou-style gardens and the charm of the ancient style of Bashu gardens.

Jiuzhaigou is a ravine valley with a depth of more than 50 kilometers, with an altitude of more than 2,000 meters, named after the nine Tibetan villages (also known as He Yao Jiuzhai) such as Shuzheng, Heye and Zechawa located in the ditch. Most of the ditch is covered by forest, and there are many lakes, waterfalls and travertine beaches. Water is the protagonist of Jiuzhaigou's landscape, with turquoise and crystal streams interspersed between forests and shoals like a necklace, colorful lakes and magnificent waterfalls that are dizzying. Looking at the snow-capped peaks in the distance, towering into the sky, snowy all year round, plus the cultural landscape composed of collectors' wooden buildings, hanging prayer flags, trestles, mills, traditional customs and myths and legends, it is known as the "beautiful fairy tale world".

Jiuzhaigou National Nature Reserve is located in Jiuzhaigou County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, and is the first nature reserve in China to protect natural scenery as the main purpose, and is also a famous scenic spot in China and a demonstration site of national civilized scenic tourism areas.

Zechawagou is located on the left branch of the "Y" shape of Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area, from Nuorilang Service Center to Changhai, nearly 18 kilometers long, with beautiful scenery, and is the highest altitude tour route in Jiuzhaigou. The scenic spots are concentrated at the end of the ditch, and the main attractions include: seasonal sea, colorful pool, long sea, etc.

At an altitude of 3,150 meters, Changhai is the longest lake in Jiuzhaigou, about 5 kilometers long, dark blue, and distributed in an "S" shape. The surrounding mountains are stacked and the trees on the shore are dense, and at a glance, the water is like a mirror, the majestic snow peaks, bathed in the blue sky and white clouds, spectacular and beautiful. Changhai can also be regarded as the mother of all the Haizi in Jiuzhaigou, because Changhai has no water outlet, and can only rely on evaporation and underground rivers to discharge water, and these underground rivers are an important supply of water sources from other Haizi.

From the Colorful Pond to the Norilang Service Center, after a short rest, we walked to the Norilang Waterfall, Start exploring the various attractions in Shuzhenggou.

Shuzhenggou is the main ditch of Jiuzhaigou and the gate of the beautiful scenery of Jiuzhaigou. The whole ditch is 14 kilometers long, with more than 40 lakes of all kinds, accounting for about 40% of all the lakes in Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area. Known as the epitome of Jiuzhaigou, there are magical and mysterious lakes, colorful beaches, primitive mills and trestles dotted with seas and majestic waterfalls, which are dizzying and can't help but admire the magic of nature.

With an allocation of 2,365 meters, a width of 270 meters and a height of 24.5 meters, Nuorilang Waterfall is one of the largest calcified waterfalls in China and the widest waterfall in China. Nozhilang Waterfall means majestic waterfall in Tibetan, it falls in multiple stages, and a water curtain 140 meters wide flies out from between the two mountains and falls straight down to a hundred-foot cliff, forming a rare forest waterfall. There is an observation deck built opposite the waterfall, standing on the platform, the panoramic view of the waterfall is overlooked, and the 300-meter waterfall is set off by the clouds and mist, turning into a magnificent picture. Many film and television dramas have been filmed here, and the ending of the 1986 version of the TV series "Journey to the West" was filmed here.

The scenic spots in the Rizegou are densely populated, including Mirror Sea, Pearl Beach Waterfall, Pearl Beach, Peacock River, Five Flowers Sea, Panda Sea, Arrow Bamboo Sea, Swan Sea, Grass Sea, etc.

Here, some lakes are colorful, like an unpredictable kaleidoscope; some primitive nature, like entering a fairyland; Some are deep and quiet, like a treasure mirror, among which there are waterfalls with the largest drop, cornucopia-like shoals, ancient trees and towering primeval forests, and the scenic spots are arranged in an orderly manner, high and low, connecting with nature, giving people a strong sense of beauty and making people excited.

After entering the scenic spot, the sightseeing bus we took just went to the direction of the primeval forest. The sightseeing bus arrived at the Arrow Bamboo Sea, and most of the tourists started from here, and we continued to transfer to the sightseeing bus to the primeval forest at the end of Rize Gully.

The Swan Sea is a semi-swampy lake, 2905 meters above sea level, surrounded by dense mountains and forests and flourishing flowers and trees, on the vast lake, weeds, a clear stream winding through it, swans rise and fall, wild ducks swim in flocks. The surface of the Swan Sea Lake is crystal clear, and the aquatic plants are fresh green, floating on the water, like a layer of delicate velvet.

Since another companion who was traveling with us had already taken the car to Jianzhu Sea first, we didn't stop too much here, but hurriedly took a few photos, and then took a sightseeing bus to Jianzhu Sea.

There is a peculiar landscape in the Arrow Bamboo Sea, that is, there are some calcified dead wood in the lake, and the strange thing is that sometimes the dead wood is half out of the water, and there will be new saplings on it to take root, which is called rotten wood renewal, or dead wood in spring, or regenerated trees, which has become a major feature of the Arrow Bamboo Sea.

Due to the travertine deposition on the seabed, various colorful algae and the reflection of colorful trees on the shore, the five-flower sea presents various colors such as goose yellow, navy blue, dark green, royal blue, etc., which is colorful, so it is called "five-flower sea".

The water of Wuhuahai Lake is diverse in color, rich in changes and has a variety of postures. From a distance, what catches your eye is the green, dark green, dark blue, navy blue, golden yellow in the embrace of the sea of five flowers, and some inexplicable colors are put together with clear layers of colorful shadows, which are intertwined with each other but not chaotic, reflect each other but do not erode, embellish each other but do not crowd out, beautiful and just right.

Wuhuahai

continued to move forward, and soon reached the end of the plank road, which is the junction of the Wuhuahai outlet and the Peacock River. From the trestle at the outlet of Wuhuahai, climb the ring road, go downhill along the road, and come to Pearl Beach not far away.

Pearl Beach is a relatively wide stone beach surface among the many lakes in Jiuzhaigou, with an altitude of 2,450 meters, and is a large travertine accumulation platform formed by calcium carbonate deposits. The clear lake water rushes down through the spacious beach, and the lake splashes silver beads on the sloping and uneven stone beach, resembling pearls, hence the name Pearl Beach. There are a large number of algae and scattered water-loving shrubs growing on the beach, and the water flow of about 100 meters long has fallen into the river valley in multiple stages, due to the action of "biological karst" and the chemical deposition in the flowing water, the beach surface is scaly and corrugated, and the clear torrent splashes countless broken waves on it, dazzling in the sun, like rolling pearls.

Below Pearl Beach is a cliff, and the water rushing from the pearl beach rolls down from the edge of the cliff. Forming a wide crescent-shaped waterfall, this is the Pearl Beach Waterfall.

Pearl Beach Waterfall is 2,433 meters above sea level, with a height of 21 meters and a width of 270 meters. The moraine terrace left by the Quaternary glacier has been calcified to make the slope of the waterfall more towering and solid. The waterfall fell to the bottom of the valley, emitting a deafening roar, forming a raging torrent, rolling up thousands of waves, surging water mist in the emerald valley, and then rushing eastward, the sound of the water was thunderous, the mountain stream was boiling, and the momentum was majestic. This rapids is the most beautiful, the most rapid, and the loudest sound among all the rapids in Jiuzhaigou.

Jinghai is one of the famous attractions in Jiuzhaigou, the lake is narrow and long, about one kilometer long, surrounded by trees. The water surface is as flat as a mirror, hence the name. Whenever the morning light is first dewed or the morning glow is dyed, the blue sky, white clouds, distant mountains, and nearby trees all include the seabed, and the landscape in the sea has clear lines and bright colors.

There are more than 3,400 colorful pools arranged in the terraced shape in Huanglonggou, the longest calcified beach is 1,300 meters long and the widest is 170 meters, with a grand scale, ingenious structure and colorful surface travertine landscape as the main scene, famous at home and abroad for rare karst landforms, famous for the "four uniques" of color pools, snow-capped mountains, canyons and forests, enjoying the reputation of "world wonders", "Yaochi on earth", etc., which can be called a wonderland on earth.

We took the sightseeing bus from the visitor center to the ropeway station, then took the cable car up the mountain and transferred to the sightseeing bus to Huanglong Temple. Go up the stone steps and first reach the Moon Reflection Pool.

The next destination of our itinerary is Songpinggou in Maoxian County, and we will pass through the Shenxian Pond Scenic Area on the way to Maoxian, so we decided to go to the Immortal Pond Scenic Area first and then go to Maoxian. In the morning, the chartered car master came to the hotel to pick us up as promised, and the car drove along the mountain road, and the winding mountain road spiraled up the mountain, forming 28 turns.

The Shenxian Pond Scenic Area is located in Jiuzhaigou County, the southern section of the Minshan Mountains on the northwest plateau of Sichuan, facing Jiuzhaigou from a distance, and is called "Nenen Sangcuo" in Tibetan, which means the place where fairies bathe.The entire scenic spot is surrounded by vast and boundless primeval forests, surrounded by steep terrain, with more than 10 peaks above 4,000 meters above sea level, with peaks stacked, deep winding streams, and clouds and mist, giving people an ethereal, mysterious, quiet and secluded feeling.

Entering the Immortal Pool Scenic Area, slowly moving forward along the plank road, surrounded by lush dense forests, the hillsides are wrapped in yellow, milky white calcium, forming a peculiar basin-shaped calcification pool and calcified slope, stacked in front of you, the water color in the pool emits a unique "Jiuzhai blue", which is very a bit of a taste of fireworks in the world.

On the way, we passed the ancient city of Songzhou, because it was still more than 4 hours away from Maoxian, we did not enter the ancient city, just took a photo, and continued on our way.

Diexi Haizi is located in Mao County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, the largest Qiang settlement in China, at the foot of Minshan Mountain in the upper reaches of the Min River, and is a dammed lake formed by an earthquake. The lake is 2,258 meters above sea level and is only about 1 kilometer wide, but as long as 10 kilometers. The sea is formed by the upper and lower parts, shaped like an intestine. The lake is surrounded by green mountains, the lake shore is overgrown with green grass, the lake water is rippling, and the scenery is beautiful and charming, which is a unique scenery along the World Natural Heritage Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong Tourism.

stopped here for a while, and we continued to Mao County. It was already evening when we arrived in Maoxian, and the driver sent us to a hotel in Pingtou Qiang Village, Maoxian County.

Pingtou Qiang Village is located in Mao County, Aba Prefecture, Sichuan, with more than 500 households and nearly 2,000 people, 95% of whom are Qiang Chinese. After the "5.12" earthquake, the rebuilt Pingtou Village inherited the traditional village architectural style of the Qiang people who "lived in the mountains". Walking into the village, the terraces are scattered, the water is gurgling, the buildings are simple, the alleys are quiet, and the plank road connects the front and back of the house. Qiangzhai has always retained an ancient and unique traditional culture, with simple folk customs and strong Qiang customs.

Today's itinerary is Songpinggou, yesterday by the hotel owner, We have contacted the chartered car master. After breakfast, we set off from the hotel and arrived at Songpinggou Scenic Area 1 hour later.

Maoxian Diexi Songpinggou Tourist Scenic Area is located in Songpinggou Township, Diexi Town, Qiang Cultural Center Area of Maoxian County, with a primitive and simple ecological environment and pleasant scenery. The scenic spot is famous for its beautiful natural scenery and rare earthquake relics in the world, and is one of the most well-preserved earthquake damage sites in the world.

Entering the scenic spot, we took a sightseeing bus to the highest point of Changhai.

Changhai is 2,900 meters above sea level, which is the highest altitude in Songpinggou and the longest lake in Songpinggou. The Tibetan name of Changhai is "Sa'er Foot Error", and there are many "grass fish" (Songpan naked carp) in the water, and herders regard it as a "god". The water in Changhai is clear and transparent, echoing the green mountains and green trees, and the water surface is like a mirror, clean and transparent.

There are only a few of us in the entire scenic spot, accompanied by white clouds and clear water, and our hearts are happy. Standing by the water, the water lies quietly between heaven and earth, and the peaceful and real water surface has a unique flavor.

stayed in Changhai for a while and continued to take the bus to the next stop, Wucaichi. Going down from the parking point, you need to climb over a few large rocks to reach the colorful pool.

The Mohai is formed by the collapse of the rock wall and the collapse of the mountain to block the flow of water, and the water is deposited on the dark blue rock, bottomless, and the color of the water is as deep as blue ink, so it is called the Mohai. The surrounding peaks, leafy trees, verdant pines and miscellaneous flowers and plants are reflected in it, and the water interacts with each other, and the water becomes as deep blue as ink, like a pool of ink poured. The sea of ink in the sun is sparkling and aura-compelling.

Standing on the edge of the ink sea, looking far away, I saw the golden sun shining on the water, the breeze blowing, sparkling water splashing, the surrounding mountains were steep, the forests were dense, and the mountains, waters and forests formed an elegant ink painting in the quiet.

We took a few photos of Mohai and then took the sightseeing bus back to the gate, Baishi Sea is next to the gate of the scenic spot.

Baishi Sea is the largest sea in Diexi Songpinggou Tourist Attraction, also known as Gongpeng Sea and Walpu Sea, named after a mysterious white stone on the seaside. The shape of the sea is like a flat scythe, the tip is the deepest, and the gap between the cliff is heartbreakingly green, the lake is blue and cloudy, and the green mountains and forests are reflected in it.

may be due to the lack of rain this year, and the scenery of the entire Songpinggou scenic area is not as beautiful as imagined. After spending a while in the White Stone Sea, we took the car back to the hotel.

The original

planned itinerary of D9 for this trip also included Bipenggou and Wulong Scenic Area in Chongqing, but some changes occurred on the way, and our trip could only be terminated early. Refund the tickets and hotels for the follow-up itinerary that have been booked, take the bus to Chadianzi Bus Station in Chengdu in the morning, then transfer to the subway to Chengdu Tianfu International Airport, and take the 17:20 flight back to Tianjin.
