Chengdu, an ancient and mysterious capital, a national historical and cultural city, the birthplace of ancient Shu civilization, and the center of the "Land of Abundance", is known as one of the top ten ancient capitals in China and the best tourist city in China.

Chengdu, carrying thousands of years of history, has never changed its name, nor has it moved its site, standing calmly and peacefully in the hinterland of the "Land of Bashu", and is a "splendid city" that amazed Marco Polo.

Chengdu, with two World Heritage Sites and two World Preliminary Heritage Sites, is the city with the largest number of World Heritage projects in central and western China, and is a national historical and cultural city with a history of about 3,000 years.

Chengdu, according to the "Taiping Huanyu Ji", is borrowed from the historical process of the Western Zhou Dynasty to build the capital, taking the Zhou king Qianqi "one year and living in Chengju, two years into a city, three years of Chengdu" and named Shudu, the pronunciation of the word "Chengdu" in Shu is Shudu, Chengzhe, Biye, Zhongye, the meaning of Chengdu is the final capital of Shu, or the final capital.

Chengdu, which has been built here by seven separatist regimes, has always been the state and county seats of various dynasties, the Han Dynasty became one of the five major metropolises in the country, the Tang Dynasty was one of the most developed industrial and commercial cities in China, with the reputation of "Yang Yi Yi Two", and during the Northern Song Dynasty, Chengdu became the second largest metropolis outside Bianjing.

Today's Chengdu is also an Internet celebrity check-in city, with all the elements that make people love, beautiful scenery, food, beauty, especially every corner of the city, all of which render its leisurely, optimistic, quiet, prosperous and free and easy unique characteristics.

Chengdu is such a city, the capital of the country of heaven, beautiful (embroidered) scenery, a city with a bright future, with Du Fu thatched cottage, Wenshu Monastery, wide and narrow alleys, Jinli, as well as Huanglongxi, Anren Ancient Town, Luodai Ancient Town, Wuhou Temple, Qingyang Palace, Jiuyan Bridge and many other historical places, monuments, and scenic spots, which deeply attract Chinese and foreign tourists, including me. In order to learn more about Chengdu, I decided to slow down and stay here for a few more days for a relaxing in-depth tour.

below I wrote this article based on some of the knowledge and beautiful scenery I learned and photographed during this trip to Chengdu, Sichuan, and share it with you.

Chengdu, referred to as "Rong", also known as Rongcheng and Jincheng, is the capital of Sichuan Province, a sub-provincial city, a megacity, the core city of the Chengdu-Chongqing Twin Cities Economic Circle, an important central city in western China approved by the State Council, and an important national high-tech industrial base, trade and logistics center and comprehensive transportation hub.

Chengdu is located in the western part of the Sichuan Basin, the hinterland of the Chengdu Plain, with flat terrain, dense river network, rich products, highly developed agriculture, and a subtropical monsoon humid climate.

The thatched cottage is located on the banks of the Huanhua River outside the west gate of Chengdu, the garden is lined with pavilions, ancient trees towering, after entering from the main gate, the three main buildings of the Mansion, the Poetry and History Hall, and the Ministry of Works Ancestral Hall are arranged on the central axis from south to north, and the northeast of the Ministry of Works Ancestral Hall is the Shaoling Monument Pavilion and the former residence of the great poet's thatched hut, east of the thatched house is the bonsai garden, and to the south is the Huanhua Shrine, Flower Path, Daya Hall and the thatched cottage showroom near the south gate.

Dayatang was originally the Daxiong Treasure Hall of Caotang Temple, named after the Northern Song Dynasty writer Huang Tingjian's "Dayatang Record", and the Dayatang displays large-scale colored glaze inlaid and lacquered murals and 12 sculptures of famous poets of the past dynasties, vividly showing Du Fu's life and the development history of classical Chinese poetry.

Tourists come here, most of them are remembrance and commemoration of Du Fu, every grass and tree, brick and tile here exude a strong cultural atmosphere, as if quietly telling the story of the poet Saint Du Fu, strolling in it, as if you can see Du Fu reciting poetry and composing poetry here, worrying about the country and the people.
