Haikou Century Bridge

海口世纪大桥

The Century Bridge in Haikou is located on the northern extension of Longkun North Road. There are four towers at both ends of the main bridge, and bridgehead squares on the north and south banks. The Century Bridge is not only a key construction project of Hainan Province, but also a landmark building of Haikou City. The bridge is located at the intersection of the "Haikou Bund", Wanlv Park and Meilisha, which are full of urban cultural charm. The completion of the bridge will greatly promote the potential accumulated by the coastline of northern Hainan to extend and expand from the "center" of the bridge to the two wings, forming a truly charming coastline. The Century Bridge is brightly lit at night, and it is another landmark building in Haikou.

Due to the construction of the Century Park enclosure, I couldn't take close-up photos, only from a distance.

The scenery is nice. There is a square next to it. Looking at the estuary, the water and the sky are one color.

Overall feeling: landmark, sudden enlightenment, heart-pounding.

Crowd: 4/10. There are very few people on and under the bridge, and the traffic is heavy and the speed is very fast.

Scenic spots: sunrise and sunset at the estuary. Night view of the west coast. Qiuhai Lake of Hainan University. All three scenic spots are very distinctive.

Scenic area services: There are public toilets under the Century Park around the bridge. There are managers on the bridge. Free of charge. The catering and accommodation near the Century Bridge are of relatively high standards. The safety of the bridge is medium, and it is recommended that children be supervised by adults when going on the bridge.

Transportation: Take the bus to the Bund Center or near Hainan University. There are many shared bicycles, which is very convenient. Parking is currently quite convenient, and there are not many people around.

Features: Go up the bridge, enjoy the sea breeze, and ride a bicycle along the Blue Sea Boulevard.

Overall evaluation: Not bad, very suitable for relaxing when you have nothing to do.

I remember filming If You Are the One here. Century Bridge offers many views, such as Baishamen Park, Hainan University, Haidian Island, etc. Many ships pass by under the bridge every day.

Haikou's most famous bridge is also a landmark building. It is very majestic and beautiful, especially when it is brightly lit at night. It is worth seeing.

The Century Bridge is not only a key construction project of Hainan Province, but also a landmark building of Haikou City. The bridge is more than 2,600 meters long. It took a full seven years from the proposal to the completion of the Century Bridge, spanning three governments and two centuries. The bridge got its name from this. It was a big news at the time.

In the evening, I rented an electric motorcycle with my friends to the vicinity of the Century Bridge. It is really cheap to rent an electric motorcycle in Haikou! Because there are many cars, we watched the sunset at the Music Fountain Square by the bridge. At about seven o'clock, the sky in Haikou was still very bright. After about ten minutes, the sun began to slowly set, like a child changing his face, from yellow to egg yolk and then to light yellow, blending with the end of the sea. As the sun set, the sky slowly turned pink, and my favorite light pink! At about eight o'clock, the sky turned completely black. After dinner, my friends in Haikou said that there were not so many cars, so we could drive along the Century Bridge. Facing the sea breeze, driving an electric car to rush across the Century Bridge, I felt like I was flying~ Blowing the sea breeze in the bridge is another flavor. Finally, we ended the day's trip with a night of Haikou's special small sugar water, Qingbuliang.

The hotel we stayed in was near the Century Bridge, so we took a walk around the area and felt very comfortable in the sea breeze.

In the evening, I drove across the majestic Century Bridge and turned under the bridge. As the sun set, I watched the bridge and the sky slowly change color, from golden yellow to orange, dark purple, and dark blue. It reminded me of Jane Zhang’s song - My Dream...

The cable-stayed bridge with two towers and two cable planes is like a sleeping dragon lying across the Haidian River. The main bridge spans the estuary of the Haidian River, with the sea on one side and the estuary on the other. The scenery is endless. Because of its novel shape, it has become an important tourist attraction and a landmark building in Haikou. When driving over the bridge, I felt that the scenery on both sides of the bridge was particularly beautiful. Seeing that there were walking paths on both sides of the bridge, I knew that this bridge was open for sightseeing. After crossing the bridge, I found a way to go under the bridge. After a long time, I finally came to the tower base under the bridge on the opposite side of the river. This place should be similar to the Riverside Park, but it feels shabby. Not to mention tourists, almost no one can be seen. However, I saw that the tower door on one side was open and there were people guarding it, so I felt relieved immediately. You can take the elevator to the bridge deck level, and there is also a level in the middle where you can walk to the tower on the opposite side, and then take the elevator up. The door here is closed at 5 pm and you are not allowed to enter the tower or go up the bridge. Those who come to take photos should pay attention to the time. It seems impossible to take photos of the sunset and night view on the bridge, but it is still very nice to take photos of the night view of the bridge under the bridge. The scenery on the bridge is very good, but because the bridge is in the north-south direction, it is always in the direction of the light on one side and the backlight on the other. It is recommended to come in the morning and evening when the sun is not strong, or in the afternoon like we did, so that the side facing the sea is in the backlight and the side facing the river is in the direction of the light, and the scenery on the Haidian River side is better. Although this is not the commanding height of Haikou, the angle is very good, and you can feel the unique scenery of the city of Haikou. This kind of free place with good scenery has always been our favorite.

I only saw it from a distance. I didn't get to the bottom of it. So it's hard to comment. The night view and the day view are both beautiful.

Century Bridge is a bridge connecting Haikou city and Haidian Island. It is the most spectacular suspension bridge in Haikou. It looks very beautiful when the neon lights are turned on at night. Century Bridge connects Haikou's super popular Wanlv Park and Haidian Island. Looking at the bridge from Wanlv Park, the bridge is like a magpie bridge, connecting the sea and the sky. It is even more colorful at night. Listening to the waves and looking at the bridge, imagination is endless. Looking at Wanlv Park from the bridge, the sea and the sky are all green, and the scenery is pleasant. It is a landmark building in Haikou. It is the only way to Haidian Island and is only one stop away from the north gate of Haida University. Walking on the bridge, there are blue waters on both sides. Looking at the sea and the sky in the distance, you will really feel that you are in Hainan, in a city surrounded by the sea. This feeling is still very wonderful. At night, every extended cable of the Century Bridge will be lit up by lights, and the bright lights are very spectacular.

Drive past. You can't stop on the bridge, but the view is great! Have dinner in the fishing village next to the bridge. The taste is very Hainanese and the environment is very pleasant. Standing on the beach, watching the Century Bridge and the sunset is unforgettable!

One of the landmarks of Haikou City, it is next to Wanlv Park on Binhai Avenue and connects to Hainan University on Haidian Island. The surrounding scenery is nice.

Century Bridge is a bridge connecting Haikou city and Haidian Island. It is a wonder to watch the sea view from the bridge after a summer shower. The ever-changing colorful clouds alone can make you cry.

By What can be seen and what cannot be seen |

Late at night, you can hear the sound of waves hitting the shore, which is the masterpiece of the wind in Haikou.

In the distance, a dividing line rose in the middle of the sea level, one high and one low.

Ever since Ge You took a taxi across this bridge in If You Are the One, this bridge has appeared in various movies and TV series. The recent Love Is Back was mostly filmed in Haikou. This bridge has also appeared countless times. The seawater surges under the bridge, connecting Haikou City and Haidian Island. You can see this place from Wanlv Park. It is beautiful no matter day or night.

I walked across this bridge in the car. It was so spectacular. If I have another chance, I would like to walk across it.

There is also a park under the Century Bridge, but it is sparsely populated. Walking under the bridge, there were two young men following me. I was a little scared in the middle of the day. But they were probably afraid of meeting other people in such a place... So if you are a couple, I suggest you don't go to Century Bridge Park.

Haikou is all-encompassing. Although it does not have the charm of Sanya, you will still be impressed by its delicacy and gentleness after visiting Haikou. Food is also a must.
