Stone Park

石头公园

The Stone Park consists of three parts: The first part is magnificent, with various shapes of stones, especially the Wind-Moving Stone, which is more than 3 meters high and weighs about 20 tons. It has gone through vicissitudes for tens of millions of years, and no matter how many 12-level typhoons it has, it cannot be blown down.
The second part is made of dark green granite, the stones are relatively flat and well-arranged.
The third part is unified in form and is made up of natural goose egg stones. Goose egg stones of different sizes are lying peacefully all over Tonggu Cape, as if telling modern people the story of how an iron rod is ground into a needle.
According to local fishermen, the area around Stone Park is rich in sea urchin and abalone resources.

By Cross the mountains to see the sea |

The natural sea view is beautiful, but it feels like no one cares about this place. The roads are bad and there is garbage everywhere. You have to walk a long way after getting off the bus. I dare not go into the bathroom in the parking lot. There is a lot of paper piled up and feces sprayed on the wall. There is toilet paper everywhere in the woods. Everyone has to find a place to relieve themselves! So there are a lot of feces in the woods. I didn’t take pictures. It’s so disgusting! There are a lot of sea urchin shells on the rocks. Such a good place, if no one cares, it will be ruined sooner or later!

There was no place to sit at the bus stop, and no shade. I waited in the sun, and when other cars passed by, there was a lot of dust. There were two signs there, but I didn't understand what they meant. Picture 456.

Stone Park is located at the foot of Tongguling Mountain in Wenchang. It is a pristine sea area with flat sand and clear water. The large and small stone forests distributed on the shore and in the sea are very unique. Walking in the Stone Park, stepping on the gentle beach, watching the clear sea water hitting the rocks, people can't help but feel the magnificent scenery of "rocks piercing the sky, waves hitting the shore, and rolling up thousands of piles of snow." The main purpose of visiting the Stone Park is to take a leisure walk and enjoy the beautiful sea view and the various forms of stone forests. It is said that the rocks here were raised from the surface due to the orogeny tens of thousands of years ago. After the beating of the tide and the baptism of time, the peculiar scenery today has been formed. They are varied, some look like scallops, some look like honeycombs, vivid and very interesting.

Stone Park is one of the few free attractions in Shanghai. There is a simple parking lot after driving to the beach. It takes 5 minutes to walk to the beach. The stones are in different shapes, like dinosaurs and turtles. When the waves hit, there are many waves and stars. In fact, from a bird's eye view, it feels more like a flying goose. Due to the light, the sea water will be blue and green in different colors. I think this is a good place to take wedding photos without spending any money.

By Yang Xiaoai |

It is said to be the filming location of the scene where Sun Wukong jumped out of the stone. There is a section of the road that is not repaired. Some people park their cars in a parking lot farther away and then walk in. You can also drive your car to a small parking lot at the back. Otherwise, if you walk there, the dust will fly and the sun will be so hot that both adults and children will collapse. However, the last section of the road is uneven, making it difficult to drive and meet other cars, so please be careful.

As the name suggests, Stone Park is just a lot of stones, but the scenery you see when you climb to the highest point is still good. There are not too many people during the May Day holiday, probably because it is too remote...

The Stone Park is actually part of the Tongguling Nature Reserve. Perhaps because it has not been developed on a large scale, the entrance to the park is quite hidden and the road is quite bad. Although it is called a park, there are not many artificial traces here, only a few steps carved out of the boulders. On sunny days, the sea water here is particularly clear and full of wildness. The waves constantly hit the coast, white foam splashes, and the sound of the rolling sea water forms a rumbling echo between the various large stones in the Stone Park!

There is a very simple parking lot in the park. Stone Park is actually a natural and primitive beach open to the public. There are many large stones piled up on the beach. It takes a rugged path from the parking lot to the coast. The boulders on the beach should be rolling stones from the mountains thousands of years ago. The beach formed by the stones is several kilometers long, from the mountain of Stone Park to the foot of Tongguling. The stones are silica, the main component of which is silicon dioxide. They are not reefs commonly seen on the beach. Reefs are reactive stones baptized by volcanoes. The stones here are all original silica, which may be caused by the collapse of the mountain stones caused by geological movements, and rolled down to the seaside at the foot of the mountain. The waves beat the boulders, and the sea water eroded the boulders. Year after year, day after day, month after month, the stones are constantly weathered, and the surface becomes loose. The fine silica sand particles are swept into the sea by the waves, sinking and floating on the seabed, and then pushed to the coast by the waves to form a beach. When the content of iron oxide and titanium oxide in silica is greater than 1%, the sea sand is yellow. The higher the content of impurities such as iron and titanium, the darker the color of the sea sand. When the iron and titanium content in sea sand is less than 1%, the sea sand is white, which is the origin of the white sand beach.

There are two buses in the city, You 1 and You 2, which go to Stone Park. You 1 departs from the train station, and You 2 goes from the Grand View Garden to Gaolong Bay and then to Stone Park. It costs 10 yuan to the terminal. After getting off the bus, walk a dirt road to the beach. The big waves hit the boulders, and the waves roll, the scenery is charming. Turn right along the coast, and there is another bay where fishermen live.

There is no entrance fee for Stone Park. You can wait for Tour 1 or Tour 2 at the bus stop near Tongguling, but it takes more than 10 minutes to walk to the place where the bus stops. The government of Stone Park says that it is not a tourist attraction and that entry is not allowed, but no one cares. The picture below shows where the bus stops. You need to walk forward after getting off the bus.

No tickets are required, but the road to the destination is difficult to walk. The scenery inside is great, the sea is blue, and the waves are white. It's worth a visit

By Damei |

It is recommended to drive yourself as it is too sunny and too far away

It takes a long time to walk on a dirt road

The park was not too sunny.

Stone Park is about 11 minutes’ drive from Tongguling. Maru likes Stone Park very much because he can climb the big rocks and explore with his father.

There are many large stones in the Stone Park, and Maru is not afraid of climbing any stone, no matter how high or big it is.

By 徵羽摩柯 |

The scenery is beautiful, and the color of the sea water is very nice (the photo is not color-adjusted). You have to walk down to the beach by yourself, and the road is not easy to walk.

Remember not to get close to wet stones, they are very slippery. People kept slipping for several minutes.

The reefs are high and the waves are big, so it is impossible to get close to the sea.

By Hao Lang |

The Stone Park is not big, and no tickets are required for the time being. The scenery is nice and worth a visit~

The blue sky and white clouds are reflected, the sea water is green, and the scenery is charming. After being beaten by the sea water and baptized by time, the shapes of the stones are varied and scattered. This is a completely original sea area hidden in the boudoir without any artificial carving.

By Traveler |

Friends who like the sea can come here. I like the sea very much. Even if I don’t do anything when I come to Stone Park, it’s refreshing to just sit there and enjoy the sea breeze.

The road leading to Stone Park has become even more bumpy over the past year. Many cars dare not drive in and are stuck at the intersection. It is hard enough for many parents with young children to drive along this bumpy dirt road...

When you get to the parking lot, turn left. There is a downhill road leading to the Stone Park. It is quite slippery and still very dangerous. Everyone must pay attention to safety, safety is the most important thing!

When I came here last year, there happened to be a rain shower, and the gloomy sea and sky always made me feel like something was missing. This year, the regret was made up, with blue sea and blue sky.

The sea water here is particularly clear and full of wildness. Under the sunlight, the sea water gradually changes from blue to green, which is particularly charming.

Get close to the emerald-like sea water. The moment your toes touch the sea water, the cool feeling quickly spreads throughout your body.

It's a very nice place. There are many fish in the sea water. It's suitable for swimming and playing. You will never want to leave. . .

The Stone Park is actually part of the Tongguling Nature Reserve. Perhaps because it has not been developed on a large scale, the entrance to the park is quite hidden. Fortunately, I had the navigation system turned on at the time, otherwise I would have missed it.

Passing through the entrance and arriving at the beach, you will see rows of reefs in front of you, which are beaten by the waves and create waves more than one meter high. The sound of the waves fills the whole world. It feels like a paradise. No matter how time passes, you can "live forever" in this isolated space.

In fact, these reefs seem to be very ordinary, but after researching on the Internet, I found that these rocks are basalt magma that has erupted from the fault zone deep in the earth after billions of years of crustal movement. After long-term beating and erosion by sea water, the reef beach with different shapes and colors is now formed.

Sitting on the reef and gazing into the distance, time seemed to stop instantly at that moment.

By caelyn_love traveling |

Stone Park is located below Tongguling. It is an undeveloped free scenic spot. It is called a scenic spot, but it is actually a hidden rocky beach. The entrance is really hard to find. It is recommended to offline Gaode Map in advance. There is no signal in this place. The navigation is still quite accurate. After arriving, look for the entrance carefully. It is quite hidden.

Entering from the entrance and going down to the beach, you will feel the openness! Although there is no white and fine sandy beach here, there is a magnificent reef beach, where the waves hit the reefs, leaving behind the loneliness of the vicissitudes of life. This place is also a good place for newlyweds to take wedding photos.

By Zier_Li |

This place is not yet developed. The closer you get to the destination, the worse the road becomes. It is a gravel road, so low-slung cars should be careful. But when you get there, you will find that the long journey here is absolutely worth it! Stone Park is the most satisfying stop of the entire trip!

Everyone took off their shoes and went into the water in tacit understanding. The sea water was very comfortable and clean. You could see small fish in the water, but there was moss on the rocks, which made it very slippery.

By Reed in the Rain |

Stone Park is located on the coast of Longlou Town, Wenchang. It is the easternmost corner of Hainan and belongs to the Tongguling Nature Reserve.

Stone Park currently does not charge admission, and public transportation is not very convenient. It is recommended to drive or take a taxi. However, there is a construction site nearby, so it is estimated that it will be developed soon.

There are many rocks here that were raised from the surface by the orogeny tens of thousands of years ago, and after being beaten by the tides for a long time, they formed sea erosion landforms.

It is said that this is the filming location of the old version of Journey to the West where the stone monkey was born. I don’t know how many tons each of the boulders here weighs... In front of these boulders, you have to marvel at the uncanny workmanship of nature...

The waves here are relatively large during high tide, which is suitable for slow-motion photography of the tide, and can produce many dreamy effects.

Stone Park faces east, so it is also a good place to take sunrise photos. Unfortunately, when the sun was rising over the sea, the time-lapse photo I took was out of focus! It was too late to take another photo later.

There are some homestays converted from fishermen's houses nearby, some of which are quite good. Unfortunately, I didn't book one during the Spring Festival, so I stayed a little far away.

By Tea Trag |

The sea is magnificent, and I feel like I can shout out anything that makes me unhappy here.

It's so vast that I want to jump down...

By To the Unreachable |

As the name suggests, Stone Park is mainly for viewing stones. When walking among the boulders, you should pay special attention to safety, because a seemingly flat stone may suddenly have a large crack. In addition, I would like to remind you that the "Stone Park" location point found by Baidu Navigation is not accessible by vehicle, so pay attention to the road signs when approaching Stone Park.

By Small fresh |

I recommend going there. There are a lot of rocks and huge waves when standing on the rocks.

By grace |

First, there is no entrance fee, and second, it is a good place to watch the sunrise in the morning with few people.

By /xin『WDY』 |

The Stone Park is located near Tongguling. There are so many stones. Many tour groups come here. I don’t know whether they are tour groups or Hainan Island house-viewing groups. Anyway, I saw many stones along the way.

By King D L |

During the mountain-building movement tens of thousands of years ago, huge rocks rose out of the earth's surface. After years of wind and waves, the rocks finally took on today's spectacular or beautiful appearance.

As the tides rise and fall, the water hits the rocks with incredible force, shocking the soul and instilling awe and awe.

If you listen carefully to every surge of the waves, you can feel the infinite energy accumulated from the farther and deeper sea. It is a natural force that cannot be resisted by human power.

Recommendation index: four and a half stars

Wenchang Stone Park is not a park in the traditional sense and does not have a clear park scope.

Because there are many large reefs on the coastline, it is called Stone Park.

The reefs in the Stone Park are still very pristine, with almost no "roads". You need to climb around on the big rocks by yourself, and the scenery you see is also the purest and cleanest.

It is recommended to wear sports shoes when visiting the Stone Park, or just go barefoot, so that it will be more convenient to climb the stones.

By Beijing North Zhuge |

For those who travel by car, this is definitely worth a visit. The Stone Park is really a bright spot. The sea water is crystal clear and the sea and sky are one color. It is the most primitive, with various stones formed by natural external forces. It belongs to the sea erosion landform caused by long-term tidal beating and weathering. The key is that it is free. Of course, the most surprising thing is the Hilton Hotel where I stayed, which was done for 300 yuan. It is not far away. You can go to Luneng Tianhaishan Community for dinner. There is also a larger supermarket there, which sells Sichuan cuisine and Lanzhou ramen.

By p_wind |

It is very close to the Hilton Hotel Wenchang, and it is very convenient to drive there. The scenery can only be said to be average. If you are not far away, you can go and see it. Originally, the Stone Park was very close to Tongluogu, but Tongluogu is now inaccessible.

By Uncle Cat Aunt Cat |

It's worth a visit, but seeing such a beautiful scenery polluted by garbage such as water bottles and tissues, I'm speechless 😶

By Step on mushrooms der Xiao Mo Ni |

It is a small but magnificent attraction. I think it is a must-visit attraction in Wenchang. The waves hitting the boulders are very impressive. The whole attraction is very dynamic. Visitors can climb the boulders and climb between the rocks on the sea, which is very integrated into the whole majestic momentum! The small beach is very clean. There are resting fishing boats on the sea. I picked up a lot of dried fish along the beach. I hope that friends who come here will protect the environment and leave good memories for themselves and others. No tickets are required for the attractions, and the road is relatively easy to walk, but there are many low-speed restrictions along the way. There is a coconut stall of locals on the shore, where you can eat coconut chicken. In Hainan, local people are very enthusiastic and straightforward.

By Espresso. |

This is my second time visiting Hainan Island. I first discovered this attraction on China-TravelNote. Since the transportation is not very convenient, it is more suitable for friends who travel by car.

The reason for giving full marks is the unique scenery. I have been to many coastal cities with unique scenery in China. If you want to find similar attractions in China, Taiwan is the only one left. The road is a bit rugged. The scenic area is not closed and rarely managed. The parking lot is at the entrance of the scenic area and is free. The scenic area is not large and there is no fee. The waves and fine sand interweave and hit the clear water bay under the sun. There are many people taking wedding photos on the shore. The sea is blue, the sky is wide, and time is far away.

By Iris Yang |

When we went there, it was noon when the sun was at its hottest. The aunt selling coconuts at the door was very enthusiastic to lend us hats. Once again, I felt the enthusiasm of Hainanese people. The scenic spot is small, the scenery is pure and natural, and there is no human damage. The only regret is that the wind and waves were small that day, and it was not as shocking as imagined.

By Rice |

I originally wanted to go to Moon Bay, but because the scenic area was under maintenance, I went to Stone Park. It is said that there is a bus that goes directly to Stone Park at Wenchang High-speed Railway Station. After arriving at the train station, I found out that it was March 4th and the bus would stop running after the peak tourist season in February. I had to take the bus to Wenchang Bus Station and then take the bus to Longlou Town. After getting off the bus, I could only jump around. Maybe it was because it was past the peak season. There were really not many people. The strange-shaped and large and small stones on the shore really gave a lot of surprises. Climbing up and down and walking around on them would always disturb the crabs hiding in the cracks of the stones, and they would run out with their teeth and claws. There were many shells on the beach, and I also harvested many species that I had never picked up before. There were also occasional waves rushing out of the cracks of the stones, hitting my body and causing a scream. In summary, this place should be beautiful and fun. But there are two things I want to say. When you walk on the shore, you are often on rocks, and the naturally stacked rocks may sometimes be loose, so you must pay special attention to safety. Also, although this is a free attraction, we still need to protect the environment when we have such beautiful scenery. The garbage in the bushes on the shore is really not beautiful.

By On the Road |

The location is quite remote. We drove there from Dongjiao Coconut Grove. There were not many people. The granite stones are quite unique, which reminded us of the Laoshan Beach.

By wg932 |

Wenchang Stone Park is located in Longlou Town, Wenchang City, Hainan Province. The scenery of Stone Park retains its original tranquility and beauty. The scenic spot has not been fully developed. There is no ticket required and tourists can visit for free.

By Blue Wave |

I happened to see someone recommend it, so I went there with my parents. It was unexpectedly good. I watched the waves coming, and the world was full of power. It was free. I went early and there were fewer people. The service facilities only had a simple toilet, a vendor selling coconuts, and a security guard reminding tourists not to litter. But I was sad to see that there was still a lot of litter in the scenic area.

By Shinsukeemon doesn't have a sword |

The rocks are undulating and of various sizes, which is more spectacular than the End of the Earth. Unfortunately, it was raining heavily when we went there.

By Zechiable |

It's a very good place. There is no charge now and no tourists. It's a different mood to go there now. I don't care how much the ticket is. It's just that after the plan to charge, some things will naturally be lost~ The stones are very beautiful. Even if I compare it with Tianya Haijiao, I will say that this place is better! I think if I go again, I will buy a set of sea fishing rods and sit there for a day, but I don't know how to fish, and I don't know if there are any fish there! The best thing is that if you can play guitar, you can sit on the rocks there with your guitar for a day and you won't get tired of it!

By Xiao Xiaonian |

Stone Park should be the most beautiful sea I have seen in Wenchang and other cities in Hainan this time. It is completely beyond my expectation. The sea water is crystal clear and there are many small fish and crabs... It is a very surprising attraction. You must not miss the beautiful scenery when you come to Wenchang.

By JY_Shou |

The sea here is definitely more beautiful than most beaches in Sanya, and the natural scenery here is definitely well preserved. There is no plank road built on the rocks that are more than ten or twenty meters high, but people can climb up and see the vastness and magnificence of the sea.

Stone Park belongs to Tongguling Tourist Area, including Tongguling, Xiaoao Bay (Chinese version of Pattaya Buddhist Temple in Thailand), and Stone Park are all free. Tongguling has winding mountain roads and ancient mountaineering trails. There are battery cars in the scenic area. It is recommended to walk up the mountain, which is not high, about 300 meters high. Climbing to the Tongguling Observation Deck, overlooking the sea, is the azure blue water, which is a wonderful color you would never imagine. You can also overlook Moon Bay from a distance, and you can take a panoramic view of Moon Bay with your mobile phone.

By Wuchengsi |

Overall good. Free, not very well developed, toilets are very dirty. The natural scenery is good

By Mu Ziying |

It is open to the public for free and is a less developed area. It is named after the many stones. The tour takes 1-2 hours. There are not many places to eat nearby. It is recommended to come back after eating, or eat after leaving. There are coconuts for sale for 8-10 yuan each. You can eat meat after drinking the water. Overall it is good.

By Seven_77🍭 |

I was looking forward to this place before I went there. Hearing the name Stone Park, I imagined how big the rocks on the sea were. I must go and see it. Maybe it is as they say, the higher the expectations, the greater the disappointment. Before I went there, my friend in Hainan told me that Stone Park is for looking at rocks. I also checked some pictures on the Internet, but I just wanted to see it out of curiosity. Although it is not as good as I imagined, it is a place I yearn for after all. In addition to a lot of rocks, Stone Park also has a lot of crabs and other unknown sea snails, which can be seen easily under the big rocks.

A wild scenic spot, I like it very much. I am too lazy to say it, here is the picture. By the way, I bought three pounds of crabs that the fishermen had just caught for 100 yuan, and processed them at the seafood dock for 20 yuan. It has a very nice flavor.

The waves in Stone Park are very big, hitting the rocks on the coast and turning into white water. There are many large and special stones here, very white, the stones are beautiful, and the sea is also beautiful. The higher big stones have stairs, you can climb to the top, and the view will be wider. There are artificial guardrails beside the stones to prevent people from falling. The stones are arranged in various disorderly ways by nature. I saw someone lying in the shade to rest, and the stones were quite clean. ——Excerpt from my travel notes. If you want to know more, find that travel note and read it. It is very detailed.

It is not very convenient to visit the Stone Park in Wenchang without driving. We arrived at the park at noon, and the scorching sun was shining here without reservation. Today is Christmas Eve, and the second half of the journey was a bit rushed. We did not stay here until sunset, but drove directly to the Haikou Ferry Terminal.

There is a stone park between Yunlong Bay and Tongguzui, at the foot of Tonggujiao Mountain. The name is very ordinary, but the scenery is not ordinary. The most valuable thing is that it is completely free. This kind of stone landscape by the sea can actually be found in many places on Hainan Island, but because the stones here are granites that were raised from the surface by the orogeny tens of thousands of years ago, and because the stones in this area stretch for miles and have different shapes, it seems a bit unusual. This stone park doesn't even have a gate, let alone a parking lot, and even the road leading to the beach is almost covered by weeds. There are almost no people here. You can get off and walk in when you drive to a relatively close place. Don't expect there to be road signs to remind you. The scenery here is very beautiful. When you see the strange rocks standing by the sea, you know that you have reached your destination. The entire stone park is about 2 kilometers long along the coast, and I think it can be divided into two parts. Facing the sea, the part on the left looks relatively flat, but when you walk over, you find that it is difficult to step on the area. Some protective fences have been built here, but there are no steps to walk on. Basically, you have to go up and down, around, and crawl to the coast. Walking to the beach, watching the waves of seawater hitting the rocks, and listening to the rumbling noise, you will deeply appreciate the power and charm of the sea. The scenery on the right and left sides is completely different. The stones that were raised from the surface by the orogeny tens of thousands of years ago are piled up here like small hills. They have been carved and weathered by the tidal waves for a long time and have formed various unique forms. Protective railings are also built here, just to remind tourists not to go to the area outside the railings, which would be very dangerous. However, there is absolutely no road between the stones inside the railings. They are all naturally formed gaps. You need to find your own way up and down here. Although there are certain dangers, we think it is very interesting. This is the feeling we want, with both certain protection and natural and primitive fun. All scenic spots with natural scenery should be like this. Unfortunately, once developed, they can no longer maintain this state. So I hope more people know about this place, but I don’t want everything to change after it becomes lively.

Walk along Tongguling to the seaside, a natural scenic spot, with many large natural rocks next to the seaside. Standing on the rocks and looking at the sea water, the color is like emerald, very transparent green, it is worth a visit. Be careful when climbing the rocks, the wind and waves are strong, it is wet, and the rocks are very slippery. Be careful.

Stone Park and Tongguling are not far from each other, both located in Longlou Town, Wenchang City, so the two can be put together. Longlou Town needs to take the local tram or motorcycle to get to these two places. If the tram usually costs 70 for two attractions, you can bargain to 60, and the motorcycle is generally around 45. Stone Park is also quite large, about 500 meters, spread along the seaside, with more stones at both ends. I heard from the master that some drivers only pull tourists to the smaller end. My master is very good. Under his guidance, I believe I have seen all the places I should see. There is a relatively large "duck egg stone" on the far left, and you can walk to another small piece of stone on the far right. I like this place very much. I haven't stayed there for more than three hours. If I have enough time, I can stay for a day. The stones are strange and the sea is turbulent. I especially like to watch the waves hitting the stones.

Stone Park is part of the Tongguling Ecological Tourism Area. It is located on the seashore 7km east of Longlou Town, Wenchang. There is no public transportation and you can only take a scenic bus from Longlou Town to get there. Along the beach, about 1km from west to east, there are magnificent granite boulders of different colors (be careful not to slip). Standing on the highest point on the east side, there is a huge rock platform with "Diaoyu Island" where you can see the sea from afar and the boulders in the sea from close up.

There is not much development there, it is a pristine place, seafood is very cheap, there are basically no tourists, the rocks are of various shapes, and the sea water is very clear.

Just a few broken stones are considered a tourist attraction. And the transportation is inconvenient. During the New Year, there were cars from other places and the traffic was jammed. Hey, blame me.

The picture shows that my sister also posted a status [Eastern Unbeaten] haha

It's a pity that there is no youth hostel here. When I went there in the afternoon, the sun was still shining brightly. The fishermen's boats were parked between the rocks after the tide receded. They were busy on the boats and sang loudly. This most primitive seaside KTV was probably the most pleasant sound. The vast sea with waves hitting the rock walls has a more ocean-like feeling than the gentle coastline. The water is clear and you can see the bottom, shells are scattered, and small crabs and schools of small fish swim by your feet. If you live in Longlou, you can go there in the evening and catch some small snails to enjoy with wine in the evening. There is no direct car, usually you can charter a car to go to Tongguling Moon Bay Stone Park, the price is about 60, and you can negotiate 50 for a small bend in the off-season. The driver will wait for you on the beach. Coconuts here are more expensive, 8 yuan each.
